At what point do posters change levels?

Unread postby davep » Sun 26 Nov 2006, 20:02:43

I'm sick of being "tar sands" (I think this took twenty posts). My EROEI is terrible.

I don't want to flame the boards with inane comments (well, apart from this one). So, what are the dividing lines?

Stop being such a worrier!

Ahem, if I have to descend to this level of posting, I may as well leave the board...

BTW, what's next? Heavy Crude?

It seems to be just a measure of how many posts you make. Says nothing about quality. However, there appear to be special titles too, for moderator or very senior posters it appears. But seriously: do you really care or are you just terribly bored?

yup... 100, 500, 1000 etc
The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

Dear Sir, could you insert Fission between Light Sweet and Fusion...

Pretty please with sugur on top? (g) gives me something to strive for, not that my opinionated self needs any more encouragement.

Some posters never change "levels".
1000's of posts yet they are still 100% idiot 8)
It is easier to enslave a people that wish to remain free then it is to free a people who wish to remain enslaved.

Number of posts & join date indicate signal to noise ratio in a user.

A large number of usually posts indicates verbal diaharea, advertising a low signal to noise ratio from that user.

There are obviously expections. Moderators tend to have a high number of posts, but have a decent signal to noise ratio usually. And Ludi, too, high numbers but good posts.

Then again a really low number of posts often betrays a troll or a shill.

Hrm.
