Ahhh yes, look Houston, we have a problem, as the shuttle begins to come apart during re-entry. But Houston knew about it 5 minutes after the shuttle left the launch pad, minus a couple of tiles. Same here I am afraid, the only bright spot being I'm over sixty and won't have to see it come apart at the seams.

Well, one thing I took from that was that continuing to use ICE's, only versions of them that get hundreds of miles per gallon - on fuel derived from plants, is unsustainable, if only because of soil erosion. The solution will probably have to be fusion. You laugh, but I think we can do that.
