The New Great Offensive against the last islamic terrorist in Idlib is rolling!

https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/sy ... oun-video/

https://en.muraselon.com/2019/08/watch- ... -in-idlib/

Video footage has been released on pro-militant media sites that shows the result of an attack by either the Syrian or Russian air force against a convoy belonging to a Turkish-backed militant group from Aleppo’s Afrin region.

The insurgent convoy had left it base of operations in Afrin southbound for the province of Idlib in order to confront the Syrian Army amid a major government offensive to capture Khan Sheykhun city.

Whilst the video is verified as legitimate in terms of it being the aftermath of a pro-government strike on a Turkish-backed Islamist faction convoy originating from Afrin in the last day, the exact militant group to whom the now destroyed vehicles belong is not known yet....

Turkish Offensive against "Rojava" starts soon while the US troops retreat from border?!

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) led by the Kurdish YPG militia, said it wanted stability but vowed to respond to any attack

Turkey will mount a military operation in northeast Syria, it said on Saturday, after accusing Washington of not doing enough to expel Syrian Kurdish fighters from its border.

The air and ground operation east of the Euphrates river in Syria could start at any time, President Tayyip Erdogan said.

The US-backed force which controls the region, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) led by the Kurdish YPG militia, said it wanted stability but vowed to respond to any attack.

"We will not hesitate to turn any unprovoked attack by Turkey into an all-out war on the entire border to defend ourselves and our people," S
DF spokesman Mustafa Bali said.

Perhaps Germany or even the EU will now step in to help the YPG?

Or more likely not......

Germany or Europe cannot protect the Kurds.
You know it and Erdogan knows it.
Our Bundeswehr is no more able to defend our interests with Merkels 16 year long destructiv military finance policy.

Germany is helpless and doomed with islamic terror infiltration by so called "Asyl-Refugees" without US support.

Trump's Syria withdrawal is a 'betrayal' and would be a 'strategic blunder,' says Gen. Jack Keane
Oct. 07, 2019 - 1:19 - As President Trump prepares to draw down U.S. troops from Northeastern Syria to extricate America from what he called "endless wars," Gen. Jack Keane called the move a "betrayal" of the Kurdish people and strongly advised against it, on "Fox & Friends" Monday.

If Trump wanted to to encourage other NATO members to build up participation this might be a way to do it.

Several years ago I read a German military paper on Peak Oil that said the Germans would have to make some unsavory friends.

Now that the US is pulling out, the Kurds are thinking about an alliance with the Syrian government.

That makes sense to me.

Obama's idiotic policy of trying to overthrow the government of Syria by covertly arming and training Syrian jihadists is over now. We don't need to have US troops in Syria at all now.

If Turkey is going to invade Syria to get the Kurds, a Kurdish alliance with the government of Syria to fight the Turks is the best way for the Kurds to defend themselves

It makes far more sense to have the Syrian Kurds and the Syrian Government join forces and fight to defend Syria then to have the US fighting to defend Syria.

And as far as the ISIS prisoners that the Kurds have....let them turn them over to the Syrian government so they can face justice. The ISIS Caliphate was on stolen Syrian land....the Syrians should be allowed to prosecute the ISIS killers for their war crimes against Syria.

Kurdish Syrians should join with other Syrians to repel the Turkish invaders.....

Cheers!

???????

Putin is disputing the story that US forces killed the head of ISiS.

russia-dismisses-baghdadi-propaganda

It doesn't make any sense to credit Putin for something he not only didn't do but is actually claiming didn't happen.

Give credit where credit is due.

This was a very successful US operation carried out entirely by US forces acting on the direct order of the US president.

https://southfront.org/syrian-war-repor ... pposition/

Iraqi sources claimed that a group of senior ISIS and al-Qaeda commanders was killed along the ISIS leader. These were Baghdadi’s deputy – Abu Said al-Iraqi, his bodyguard – Ghazwan al-Rawi, the head of ISIS security in Syria – Abu al-Yaman, and Abu Mohamad al-Halabi, a prominent commander of the Syrian al-Qaeda-affiliated militant group, Horas al-Din. The family of Abu Mohamad al-Halabi was also allegedly killed.

The Russian Defense Ministry commented on Trump’s statement by saying that it has no verifiable information confirming the ‘yet another’ elimination of al-Baghdadi. A defense ministry spokesman Maj.Gen. Igor Konashenkov added that Russia also has no info about the supposed opening of airspace for US aircraft.

At least the Russian position is based on reality. Trump claims that the US single handed defeated ISIS. Total BS of a claim. Under Obummer, ISIS was expanding its territory. Until Russia arrived and bombed them and their oil tanker convoys to Turkey and Iraq in late 2015. With Russian assistance, ISIS was defeated by the Syrian Army (SAA) everywhere south of the Euphrates River. And the SAA got bombed on several occasions by the USA that enabled ISIS to gain temporary ground advantages. But ultimately ISIS was destroyed and the remnants ran off to join the Al Qaeda derived jihadis (called "rebels" by the US and NATO MSM).

Meanwhile ISIS persisted much longer in the US and SDF controlled sector north of the Euphrates River. Trump simply cannot claim credit for anything pertaining to ISIS and its terrorist allies south of the Euphrates River.

Video of a Syrian well under US control. What's with all the US flags? Do Americans think this is their property?

Well its not Russian property now is it? Last time some Russian "mercenaries" tried to dispute ground that the US controlled , about 300 of them found out differently. LOL

Belgians are great dogs. Trump immediately credited the hero dog in a funny but sweet tweet, but of course the loony left went nuts at the idea of a dog getting a medal.
