I hope to learn a lot and thanks for letting me in!

With your background, I would expect that you will have lots to contribute to certain threads. Electricity come up quite a bit for some reason... :)

In my county in Virginia, they have been upgrading all of our substations and tying them together with 230kV lines to be able to shunt power as needed and laying new/upgraded ductbanks and lines everywhere it seems. Seems like a good idea - is that happening everywhere?

Mr. Admin,

I need to change the email address on an old account (Nikfury69) as the provider went out of business (Curse you Netscape!).

What do I need to provide for verifying credentials?

Thanks in advance,

Nikfury69!

Hey oilman, what went wrong with Fracking in Poland?

Welcome aboard.
There’s a strange irony related to this subject [oil and gas extraction] that the better you do the job at exploiting this oil and gas, the sooner it is gone.

So Chris, are you a real person or a Siri type bot? What's your take on all the doomerism & stuff? Any specialized knowledge? How long have you lurked here?

Hi! I decided to try and be more active of forums, there's always more to be learned by actively participating in my opinion. So here I am! Not sure why, but I've always just been a lurker everywhere. I work in the transportation industry and I love spreading knowledge equally as I love learning new things!

sweetblago Please spread some knowledge here, we are a bit short of it.

Welcome!! There is certainly much to learn in this world. Are you joining all sorts of forums to learn about all sorts of things, or do you have particular interest in the abundance of oil and hydrocarbon resources?
