Menu Changes

Unread postby Pops » Fri 10 May 2013, 11:02:01

We've clarified the menu button labels for your convenience.

Forum Posts Member View is for ... Members! It returns ALL new posts since your last login, including the Members Only forums. Of course you must be a registered member to use this search. (It's the old "New Posts" search)

Forum Posts Guest View is for guests. It Does Not Show Members Only forum posts. (It's the old "active discussions" button)

ETA: if you've bookmarked either search your link should still work fine.
ETA: Still fiddling around with the labels...
The legitimate object of government, is to do for a community of people, whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves -- in their separate, and individual capacities.

FYI, the site is WAY faster now, thanks for that!

Has there been any talk of linking the forum with the Tapatalk App for mobile?

Yes, the site zooms along now. What did you do, create new indexes, defragment the database, make different more efficient objects? You did well.

I don't really want to go into any detail, but there was indeed database optimisation involved. Thanks to Dan for a job well done (I helped a bit, but he did all the real work).
