Do you really think of yourself as xenophobic? I struggle with this myself.. I actually love other cultures and traveling, but just want there to also be an America to come home to. I'm pleased as punch to get things from China so cheaply. I don't have anyone in my circle of family of friends to discuss peak oil (or other important issues really). My circle tends not to care or they are too busy to follow. When I try to bring up this sort of stuff, I usually have to deal with demonstrative anger or raised eyebrows as if I've lost my mind (which maybe I have...lol). So, I thought I'd join this site in an effort to find like-minded folk.
