Note for what its worth Virginia Beach is next door to the largest US Navy base on the east coast and Colorado Springs, CO is next to the USAF Academy.

Tanada,

Jackson I’ll has no small military presence.

If it wasn’t for the military those cities would not be what they are.

Does anybody know if Pops is OK?

He was back and posting pretty regularly about the virus, and since he lives in Washington state he was right in the middle of one of the hot spots for the virus.

But then he stopped posting about a week ago.

POPS...if you're out there.....give us a heads up and let us know you're OK, OK?

As of last Friday he and his spouse were doing fine, staying isolated and healthy.

Statistically, if the care he's taking doesn't help, that's a bad sign overall. If everyone would be so careful re the precautions he describes on average, we'd effectively have "extreme" social distancing going on.

Naturally, everyone can't be that careful, as there are lots of critical businesses which need to run to keep society functioning of course. It would really suck to be over 60, unhealthy, and have to go in to work every day where there are lots of people because you can't afford to retire, for example. (Working from home, totally different thing, of course).
Given the track record of the perma-doomer blogs, I wouldn't bet a fast crash doomer's money on their predictions.

Don't worry. Pops will be back when it's time to tell us why we should vote for Biden.

No doubt, you'll counter by telling us we should vote for Trump. That's how politics and free speech works.

The last politician I was enthusiastic about was Reagan. I was too young then to have a grip on political reality.
