How to add a jpeg image to a post?

Unread postby Guest » Sun 27 Jun 2004, 07:07:37

At this point I can only display my computer ignorance, but would like to display a jpeg image of a graph to highlight a point. Will you tell me how to add an image to a post?

I just did this for the first time yesterday so I'm eager to answer. Find the image you want on the web, right-click it, and select "properties". Where it says "location", copy that info. When you come here to post your message, click on the "Img" button, and paste the location info. Then hit the "close tags" button in the menu, below the "Img" button. I posted an image below to see if my advice works...

Like a charm! It's that simple...

For a place to upload your images, try www.photobucket.com - they explicitly allow direct-linking unlike many sites nowadays. If you make use of it a lot, and like the service, you can consider making a voluntary donation. Otherwise, unbelievable as it sounds, it's entirely free!
