The Importance Of Eco-Friendly Environment

The Importance Of Eco-Friendly Environment thumbnail

We are all aware of the literal meaning of the word eco-friendly. The world have evolved into a global village where pollution, disasters, diseases have spread to a maximum range. In this type of chaos, it is very necessary to preserve the earth and the living things that exist on it. As human beings and the dwellers of Mother Nature we have forgotten that we serve a responsibility to earth and by that it means keeping it safe and protecting its environment from such events. These issues have grown to a much greater extent and in contrast with this, the concept of eco-friendly or going eco-friendly has progressed. In order to recognize this very concept we first need to understand that why do we need to go eco-friendly? The reasons can be many but the major ones are as follows:

This is one of the major concerns that our world is facing nowadays. It can be related to cutting down of trees, limiting supplies, exploitation of natural resources etc. Even the water today in most of the localities is not fit for drinking as most of the industries omit toxic material and waste material into pure water. They not only damage the purity of the water but also kill the marine life.

It can occur for several reasons and causes a lot of damage to the earth environment. It can be caused by over development of land for construction purposes or housing purposes, extreme weather conditions etc.

Pollution is a very common problem which we all are aware of. The main reason which causes pollution is the smoke that is omitted from the car, factories and industries. There are three types of pollution namely water, air and land pollution and sadly we are the victim of all three of them.

In contrast with the above problems, let’s discuss the importance as to why going eco-friendly is important in today’s world. Our planet is nearly dying because of the situation we have put it in. The ozone layer is damaged. In order to save our planet we need to promote self-sustainability and self-sufficiency. We can not only save the planet but also the animals of which some are going extinct because of global warming and the worse conditions the earth is facing by each passing day. Our purpose should be to promote a greener and healthier environment. Furthermore, in order to promote the very concept of eco-friendly we can always use eco-friendly products which include Hybrid Cars, Fuel less Generators, Solar Power Generator, and Eco-Friendly Air Conditioners etc. Using eco-friendly products will not temper with your use or productivity but make it more efficient and effective. They are the basis of Going Green and conserving your environment for a change.

On the other hand, one might wonder the benefits of going eco-friendly. As a matter of fact, there are many of them. They can be elaborated as follows:

It is true that purchasing an eco-friendly product will cost you less than purchasing a normal one. In this way you will be using your money in an effective manner.

Eco-friendly products for that matter guarantee you with a promise of healthier lifestyle. It will even improve the environment and in return will provide you with ample of benefits.

The main aspect of going eco-friendly is about sustainability. Since the world is corrupted with pollution and toxic amount of materials, making it sustainable can be a good call.

Going eco-friendly also improves your quality of life in terms of mortality, age, diseases etc. You might have a better shot at living a quality life with health if you chose to go eco-friendly.

One of the other factors is development. We believe that development comes from construction, ideas, innovation and strategies; but how about turning all our goals and aligning it with the environment. It will not only benefit you but the environment as well.

In order to promote the factor of sustainability and to conserve Mother Nature, it is important for us to deviate from our conventional ways of greed and exploitation and look for a better and brighter future. If we as individuals take the initiative of Going Green for a change, there will be better drive for development in the areas which are related to green energies. Recycling is also a wonderful activity through which we cannot waste the used material and use it over and over again, which in terms means that we are using are resources efficiently and smartly.

To put it into simple and a realistic scenario; millions of tons of materials is gone to waste every day, industries omit toxic chemicals in the oceans everyday making it harder for the marine life to live a quality life, smokes are omitted from cars and factories and thousands of trees our cut. We are exploiting our own nature without bearing in mind that what will possibly happen in the future. However, if we decide to choose an alternative path, we can always save what we have lost.

Total fucking bullshit. More BAU under the guise of going green is a lie of such proportions that the people putting this shit out should be arrested and locked up. Anyone that buys into the idea of a “transition” to green, clean, alt lifestyles and energy-o-plenty for all, is smok’in some heavy ass shit.

Dave, I agree. We have reached and passed the point of no return in the eco system. We have killed off too many needed species and polluted the air, water and soil beyond redemption. At least in the life time of any of us. Millions of years will be needed to establish a new ecosystem after this one dies but humans will not be a part of it.

The last major change replaced the dinosaurs with mammals. I wonder what will inherit the earth this time? Insects? Some new life form? Would be interesting to see.

So true no going Green. Perhaps we could have a some point in the past. Now, all we can do is watch Nature takes its course to cull this voracious impulsive species that we are , for that is the point we have reached. Oh by the way we are part of Nature literally so our own actions can be construed as being Nature’s solution. How ironically fitting if we blew ourselves to smithereens. The final chapter in our sad crazy history

onlooker, yes, global warming could become Nuclear Winter in a few hours exchange. I see a very good chance of that happening before too long. War is the last gasp of most empires and never have we had a world war with the ability to destroy all life on the planet along with ourselves.

    For instance:

“Obama’s infamous Asian pivot has everything to do with maintaining unipolar US global hegemony, going out of its way (across the earth’s biggest ocean) to flex its muscle in order to challenge, thwart and minimize China’s surging regional power at all cost. Washington’s primary agenda in Asia is to militarize, manipulate and coerce Japan along with every other Pacific nation into becoming China’s enemies, risking to war against both China and Russia with potentially disastrous consequences. Western propaganda portrays China as the regional bully, unwilling to submit to international law, while Empire has enjoyed its unchallenged role as the global bully for numerous decades.

An identical pattern has already taken place against Russia as US Empire actively recruited and transformed every former Soviet bloc nation in Eastern Europe into a hostile, anti-Russian Western bloc of NATO puppet allies. War criminal Bush one betrayed Gorbachev in 1991, reneging on his promise not to move NATO “one inch eastward” towards Russia.”

How did we forget about mutually assured destruction?

“Fifty years ago this week the idea of mutually assured nuclear destruction was outlined in a major speech. But how did this frightening concept of the Cold War fade from people’s psyches?”

    Status of World Nuclear Forces

“The number of nuclear weapons in the world has declined significantly since the Cold War: down from a peak of approximately 70,300 in 1986 to an estimated 15,350 in early-2016.”

According to calculations based on the Manufacturing Energy Consumption Survey and the World Steel Yearbook, from 1991 to 2010, the share of U.S. steel production using electric arc furnaces increased from 38% to 61%, while the energy intensity of crude steel production decreased by 37%.

  8. makati1 on Sat, 30th Jul 2016 9:54 pm

And how does that reflect on anything Boat? That US steel production was DOWN over that period, makes a great savings in energy because of lack of production. That the remaining steel production method using electric arc furnaces increased in percentage because of that decrease in other methods, is the point to reflect upon.

Perspective, Boat, Perspective. Get “the rest of the story” if you want to be believed.

What is your point, Boat? You are getting more stupid and insane by the hour! You should go back on your meds, fucktard! You are totally losing it! The more comments you post the more ridiculous you sound! LOL!

Boat, is there any data that is more recent than 6 1/2 years ago? Does it matter? Methinks you are suffering the symptoms of western white male disease. AKA – Statistical Syndrome (I just made that up). That’s where white guys try and formulate reality by constantly rearranging and counting up data in a hundred different ways 14 times a day until they have come to their predetermined conclusions and pretend it was the data that convinced them. The syndrome was first spotted during an economics lecture back in 62. Sadly, the recovery rate is very low and it’s not covered by disability or most insurance plans.

  11. Sissyfuss on Sat, 30th Jul 2016 10:44 pm

Thanks for that stat on reduced total of nuclear devices,Appers. Instead of the capability of blowing ourselves up a thousand times over, we can now only do it maybe three hundred. That sure takes a load off!

NASA Sees Intense Fires around the World – Video

“This year’s wildfire season is off to a blazing start. The United States had an early start to the season, with more than 29,000 wildfires burning more than 2.6 million acres of land. The driest season in 14 years has left the southern Amazon primed for heavy wildfire activity as well.”

“In some parts of the U.S., the fire season is now on average 78 days longer than it was in 1970, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. ”

We should all do our part to limit pollution and protect our environment.

So when you are burning garbage in your backyard, and you have old mattresses sofa’s, or recliners to get rid of, then do your part.

Make sure you have lots of red hot coals first, like from throwing on pallets, before you add all that furniture.

By stoking your garbage fire with wood and pallets first, it limits the smoke from your furniture fire to a black cloud not visible more than about 20 miles away. Remember that only you can do your part to protect the environment.

  15. makati1 on Sun, 31st Jul 2016 3:37 am

Go Speed, if the furniture is modern, it is mostly oil and will not need any additional fuel. In fact, you might want to stand way back and throw a lighted paper on the sofa, or a lighted cigarette. lol

  16. Go Speed Racer on Sun, 31st Jul 2016 9:50 am

Hi Makita, let’s say I pour a gallon of gasoline on the furniture, and I throw on the cigarette you mentioned.
Next, I get that cloud of black smoke, visible from 20 miles away.
Does all that mean I am getting 20 miles per gallon?

  17. makati1 on Sun, 31st Jul 2016 11:06 am

GSR, No, it means that you are breathing toxins from your old sofa. The sweet smell is the plastics returning to carbon. And, you don’t need the gasoline. Most furniture will burn with a lighted cigarette laying on it, unless it is leather.

Are you smoking something besides your sofa? lol

  18. Go Speed Racer on Sun, 31st Jul 2016 1:51 pm

No I am good, just gotta stand upwind to avoid the fumes.

There are flame retardant in mattresses so if you put a cigarette on it, then it won’t light. There used to be too many smoker in bed caused fire deaths.

Unfortunately the fire retardant is boric acid.
Aldo known as roach killer. Around 2006, a law was passed to radically increase the amount of fire retardant added. This was done to please the borik acid manufacturing company.

At this point, there are so many poisons in a new mattress that they are hazardous to have in your house. Fortunately there is an organic mattress industry, but expensive.

Or buy a 25 year old mattress out of the guest bedroom at an estate sale.

Boric acid is probably the least destructive fire retardant I can think of. It is used in cellulose insulation and fireproofing buildings.

It is the man made and older fire retardant chemicals that are responsible for the high rates of firefighter deaths due to cancer ect. They are not completely fireproof, just doped with poisonous chemicals that make it smolder.

Boric acid is present in many fruits, and is only used to battle insects because it dries out their exoskeleton, it is also good for killing mold and other similar organisms. I had plenty of the shit enter my system while weatherizing houses and I can guarentee it is much less harmful than most of the alternatives. It also absorbs stray neutrons, so maybe I am a little radiation resistant from all my work with it 🙂
According to Wikipedia, the toxic dosage is 20g/kg where salt is 3.something grams/kg

I should know, my family has been in insulation and fireproofing over several generations, I have buried family due to mesothelioma, but never anything related to boric acid, also known as borax, like what you clean your clothes with or your sink.
Apparently they make boric acid suppositories, did not know that…

Too many people……….create too much pollution and demand too many resources….

China made great progress in moving its people out of poverty…….one reason was slowing population growth…..

If you can not provide for yourself you can not provide for a child.

CLIMATE CHANGE, declining fish stocks, droughts, floods, air, water and land pollution, poverty, water and food shortages and unemployment all stem from the worlds worst environmental problem……. OVER POPULATION.

Yet the world adds 80 million more mouths to feed, clothe, house and provide energy and water for every year… this is unsustainable… and is a big part of the Climate Change problem
