New Finnish Study Finds No Evidence For Man-Made Climate Change

A new study by researchers at Turku University in Finland found that the human contribution to a rise of 0.1°C in global temperatures over the last century is just 0.01°C.

The paper, titled ‘No experimental evidence for the significant anthropogenic climate change’ was published by Jyrki Kauppinen and Pekka Malmi.

The study found that, “During the last hundred years the temperature is increased about 0.1°C because of carbon dioxide. The human contribution was about 0.01°C.”

Kauppinen and Malmi conclude that global temperatures are controlled primarily by cloud cover and that “only a small part” of the increased carbon dioxide concentration is anthropogenic.

The study also calls into question the claims of the UN IPCC, which concluded that global temperatures are largely driven by human activity.

While the methods and results of the study can be debated, this once again illustrates how there is no overwhelming consensus on man-made global warming as the media often claims.

In reality, there are dozens of prominent scientists who believe that climate change is driven by natural forces or that the United Nations’ climate projections are unreliable.

In this paper we will prove that GCM-models used in IPCC report AR5 fail to calculate the influences of the low cloud cover changes on the global temperature. That is why those models give a very small natural temperature change leaving a very large change for the contribution of the green house gases in the observed temperature. This is the reason why IPCC has to use a very large sensitivity to compensate a too small natural component. Further they have to leave out the strong negative feedback due to the clouds in order to magnify the sensitivity. In addition, this paper proves that the changes in the low cloud cover fraction practically control the global temperature.

First peak oil, now this. Are we spared nothing?

I don’t expect you to believe what I will say below, but please read and absorb it and do your own research. This week something special happened. The first sun spot of solar cycle 25 appeared on the face of the sun. This begins a period of cooling that will set either 200 year or 400 year records.

To understand and monitor the action, I watch every single day. But what I see is shocking, as earth’s thermosphere has cooled and thinned by 29% over 6 weeks (it was 4.49etc…now it is 3.16). NASA and NOAA are both changing their tune on climate change and the Russian and Chinese scientists are saying “I told you so”.

Watch them try to bail-out of the UN IPCC fraud in the months ahead as the world goes into crisis with considerably shortened growing seasons. Watch USDA crop reports if you don’t believe me. A disaster is unfolding.

I was an early adopter of the idea of Anthropogenic Global Warming (mid 1990s) until I had advice on the science behind it, did my own impartial research and found the UN IPCC logic totally fallacious and totally screwed up.

I then took my time to investigate every claim made by the UN IPCC and by the sceptics to figure out which claims had any support and which didn’t. A nasty fraud emerged and it needed to be supported by conspiracies and numerous sub plots…all will crash together.

After 15 years of being sceptically inclined, I came to the conclusion that global warming is only a fabricated emergency to justify global government and with no other merit.

CO2 itself is a fascinating part of the equation, given that….

Plants want a CO2 concentration of 1,500 – 2,000ppm for optimum growth. It makes them more drought resistant too.

The current CO2 concentration at NOAA’s monitoring station on Mona Loa volcano is 415ppm.

The concentration in the same site at 1880 (after the little Ice Age) was only 280ppm.

The concentration 11,500 years ago at the end of the last ice age was estimated from proxy data to be only 180ppm.

Plants and therefore all life on earth will die when it hits 150ppm. CO2 is essential for all life on earth as a result.

The records from ICE core analysis Antarctica and Greenland)and other studies show us two things…

    1. It was atmospheric temperature change which, after the lag of more than 800 years or so was followed by a change in the concentration of atmospheric CO2. When the climate started to cool, the CO2 concentration continued to rise because the ocean heats more slowly than the land and then releases heat more slowly…because it is a huge heat sink. So CO2 could never have changed the climate (at least before the industrial revolution). You will be unaware that Angstrom and Bohr both conducted experiments to see whether the very mild greenhouse effect could cause global warming and determined it couldn’t. It was only when the UN IPCC started ptomoting that theory in the 1880s that it became profitable for some scientists to suggest it and so AGW theory was born.

    2. After every Ice age, the level of atmospheric CO2 was less than at the end of the end of the previous ice age. The passage of the Pleistocene cycles of short interglacials and long glaciations resulted in the sequestering of more and more CO2. (when the sea cools it takes up CO2 but when it warms, it emits it – so the Vostok studies are also logically supported)

This accounts for why several hundred million years ago, atmospheric CO2 was several percent, rather than 4 one hundredths of one percent today (0.04%). The passage of ice ages has had that effect, leaving by far the greatest proportion of CO2 in rocks, earth and sediment where it is locked away and not available to support vegetative species on land or in the seas)

Our human DNA was laid down for us when CO2 concentrations were very high. So when we breathe in air it contains 20% oxygen, anywhere between about 4 to 8 hundredths of one percent CO2 plus nitrogen and Argon, water vapour etc. Our lungs convert 20% of the inhaled oxygen to CO2 in the process of renewing our blood supply and freeing it of the excess blood carbon that has been accumulated. We then breathe out 4% CO2 and only 16% oxygen.

As a surf-lifesaver in my youth I had a need to employ CPR on 3 drowning victims and in the process I inflated their lungs with my exhaled breath, which only contained 16% oxygen. It was not a problem at all. We are built in such a way that we don’t get poisoned by the additional CO2 (or the vastly greater proportion of nitrogen – unless we are deep scuba diving).

So. The UN IPCC claim that CO2 is a pollutant when it is colourless, odourless and clearly non-toxic (actually it is also a mild anaesthetic) is a calculated fraud. Everyone is taught at school that plants need only three things in order to survive…water, light and CO2. I will leave you to figure out why they tell such lies…

The UN IPCC claims the excess human emissions of CO2 causes global warming, despite the fact there is zero evidence that it does, and despite the fact that human activities are only responsible for 4.3% of total annual CO2 emissions.

The UN IPCC wants to reduce atmospheric CO2 at the same time as your Dutch greenhouse farmers use 2,000ppm of bottled CO2 to pump it into their glass houses so as to aid plant growth, and there is actually a shortage of atmospheric CO2 for plant life at this point in history. Ask yourself what happens during the next ice we go extinct because of this UN IPCC fraud?

The solar cycles account for both warming and cooling climatic conditions, with the exception of the major changes between the ice ages on their 100,000 year cycles (check out Milankovich cycles on wiki – the Milankovich theories are at least partially proven and they are accepted by all scientists on both sides of the debate. The changed solar winds during solar minimums allow in more cosmic rays and the changed solar magnetosphere perturbs the earth’s tectonic plates and causes volcanism – of which most happens under the ocean where 80% of earth’s volcanoes are located. Cosmic rays and volcanism are the sun’s primary agents of short to medium term climate change.

The sun delivers more than 99% of our energy to earth and the winds, currents and pressure changes then attempt to equalise the heat, causing changes to climate.

The reason you need to read and understand this is because the UN IPCC climate fraud is about to come crashing down now that the earth has started into a Grand Solar Minimum.

It is not a question of whether it will warm or cool, just a question of how cold it will get and how many millions will starve to death by the prohected end of the Eddy Minimum is approx. 2055.

On earth, warm is good. Cold is bad. In 1645 when the Maunder Minimum hit there were fewer than 900 million on planet earth. The growing seasons shortened and millions died of cold and disease with the jet streams out of flow – just the same as today with changed patterns of flooding and drought.

Check what is happening to the world’s crops now!

Energy Investor – your talk of the thermosphere affecting anything is total rubbish:

“The cooling near solar minimum is natural and specific to the thermosphere. The cooling thermosphere does not affect the troposphere, the layer of the atmosphere closest to Earth’s surface where people live. The temperatures we experience on the ground do not get colder because of this solar cycle. NASA and other climate researchers continue to see a warming trend in the troposphere. These two effects are ongoing but unrelated.”

Energy inspector, I am and will remain a climate agnostic. I’m too old to really dive deep into the climate debate. I’m a techie and for decades have been interested in renewable energy (under the strong influence of the Club of Rome). As a European I don’t need the climate argument to be in favor of 90-100% renewable energy.

The most important argument is energy independence, since Europe hardly has conventional fossil fuel left.

Combating pollution and car noise are important as well.

On top of that there is the price argument. Conventional oil and gas WILL indeed run out soon. The conventional peak oil story was correct. Although I’m an adherent of the Michael Klare’s “Third Carbon Age”, meaning that there is sufficient lower quality carbon stuff around to burn for centuries to come, that can be harvested against acceptable prices with enhanced technology…

…I think that it is go to be CHEAPER to harvest energy with huge offshore wind turbines and large solar arrays in the desert with hydrogen conversion than setting up UCG power stations in Europe and somehow get rid of the CO2 in a responsible manner.

An additional benefit is that Africa has the best solar resources in the world and cheap labor in abundance. Africa could become the hydrogen station of the world and finally provide a substantial source of income to that dirt poor region (obviously under Eurasian surveillance and capital). With the solar electricity price in Africa and Arabia under 2 cent/kWh you know this can’t be beaten by fracking or UCG.

  16. Davy on Sat, 13th Jul 2019 4:50 am

Does it matter is it is anthropogenic or natural and or both? I read about climate change daily. It is happening and quickly. My opinion it is both natural and human produced. We are changing all the planetary cycles on earth. Carbon, nitrogen, and the hydrologic cycles have been altered. The web of life is most certainly in an extinction event and a dislocation from the introductions of monocultures and invasive. Let’s call all this anthropogenic planetary alterations. These alterations are having significant effect on the planet just as the greater planetary and solar effects are. I am down on the climate change crying masses because they are fake green. They want their cake and eat it. Affluence without sacrifice through fake green efforts that are doing little to alter man’s effect on the planet. IPCC is a joke because all you need to do is see what China and India were allowed to do as a part of that agreement.

I am prepping for multiple negatively converging forces of change. Our civilization is likely not up to the task of negotiating all these forces. This may turn out to be a longer-term collapse process but because of the complicated world we live in and its complexity the possibility of cascading failures from multiple different sources is there. Arguing over climate change is just crying over spilled milk because the planetary disruption from the multiple sources is behind us. We are likely not going to get this complex human civilization through its coming bottleneck. Whether that means human extinction is another story but modern man as we know him is on his way out in my opinion. This could be a 100 year event or 10 in my opinion but it will be a process of decline following an unstoppable gradient.

“Landlocked Nebraska Town May Hold Key to Fish Farming Quandary” bloomberg

“A U.S. factory about 800 miles from the nearest ocean may hold the key to making fish farming more sustainable. The $200 million plant in the midwestern town of Blair, Nebraska, started production this week of an oil made from algae that its owners say could help solve one of the most vexing conundrums facing the global aquaculture industry, estimated to be worth $180 billion. Farming has increased fish supplies at a time when the ocean’s stocks are dwindling and consumer demand is growing. Yet the sector largely relies on grinding up wild catch like anchovy and herring to make feed that contains oils rich in omega 3 fatty acids — essential to producing fish like salmon that are so nutritious. Attempts to substitute plant-derived alternatives have led to a drop in omega 3 levels.”

“They say it’ll make enough algae-based oil, with the two necessary types of omega 3 fatty acids, to meet 15% of annual demand from the $1.5 billion global salmon-farming industry. That would replace 1.2 million metric tons of wild fish that would have been destined for feed — the equivalent of the annual catch from the Mediterranean Sea…DSM and Evonik built the factory in Nebraska because of the state’s abundance of corn and experience in industrial fermentation. The venture’s omega 3 fatty acids that provide nutritional benefits to the oil are produced by combining corn and sugar in steel tanks to be fermented with ocean algae”

“It’s relatively simple to replace fish meal,” said Karim Kurmaly, head of the venture. Replacing fish oil is the more difficult step. “If you’re able to replace fish oil like we are, now we can produce vegetarian salmon, a diet completely free of fish ingredients.” Veramaris’s initial customers will be salmon farmers based in Norway, the world’s biggest producer and the first to stop giving their farmed fish antibiotics. Chilean fish farmers are the next target, he said.”

“DSM has already had success supplying algae-based fatty acids for the highly regulated market of infant formula. It acquired the technology via the $1 billion purchase of Martek in 2010. “We are the front runner because, in a nutshell, we cannot see a similar product out there,” said Evonik CEO Christian Kullmann in an interview. “And don’t forget about pet food. The potential opportunity is huge for this product.”
