“in it’s monthly lies, the EIA guesses at the oily future…” Brought to you by the Reuter’s Propaganda Department and Wall Street.

  2. Antius on Tue, 12th Dec 2017 6:54 pm

If the world enters recession due to China or US reaching their respective Minsky moments, how will that effect oil demand growth?

  3. Makati1 on Tue, 12th Dec 2017 7:29 pm

Antius, Who knows? It would take a super computer and real facts to even make a good guess. But, all things considered, I think NET growth is long past. The oily numbers today are fictitious to be polite. Lies, to be honest.

The 1st world is in recession, or depression, if we were being honest. I don’t see China rocking the boat in the next four years as they clean up their internal problems in preparation for the 100th anniversary of the CCP. Xi wants to stay in power and the Chinese economy will be taking a few hits sow ti can be strong by 2021. That is my take on the situation there.

The US is the wild card in so many ways. Insane leadership. Internal chaos. Godzilla sized debts in all areas. A failing superpower. A drug epidemic. Climate disasters everywhere. And on and on. Nothing positive there. The US will be the likely cause of the next financial collapse.

  4. MASTERMIND on Tue, 12th Dec 2017 7:47 pm

When the global econony collapses all the worlds nuke plants will melt down. And you will be coughing out your internal organs shortly afterwards. Here is what just one single nuke plant meltdown did to all of Europe…Now imagine hundreds of them worldwide…

    Any questions?

  5. Boat on Tue, 12th Dec 2017 7:59 pm

If you believe in war with those who support sharia law the US is predictable. You have been parroting economic collapse. Meanwhile the market has been very kind. I make more on wall street than your US dole.

  6. Makati1 on Tue, 12th Dec 2017 8:18 pm

Boat, you better be investing it in preps. Arrogance will not save you from the gangs.

Noe will your stocks be more than memories when the collapse comes. And it IS coming. Only fools believe that there is no end.

  7. MASTERMIND on Tue, 12th Dec 2017 9:35 pm

What you buy for preps will be stolen after the collapse..You would be better off having nothing and then the gangs will leave you alone. The only chance you have to make it post collapse is to hit the road and steal and forage along the way. Because as they say “You can run but you can’t hide”

  8. GregT on Tue, 12th Dec 2017 10:10 pm

“You would be better off having nothing and then the gangs will leave you alone.”

Somehow, I doubt very much that the ‘gangs’, will be scouring the countryside looking for tools to do manual labor with MM.

There’ll be far more than enough to keep them occupied, raping, looting, and pillaging, their own home turf.

  9. Makati1 on Tue, 12th Dec 2017 11:21 pm

Greg, he is just trying to make everywhere else in the world seem worse then his own drugged up, over gunned, insane neighbors. Not to mention proving he is not as intelligent as he tells us he is.

What he and others here never seem to understand that the rest of the world is NOT like the US only with less “stuff”.

I doubt that the “gangs” are going to steal the fruit trees or the coffee trees or the chocolate trees or the hand tools, as you said. I would gladly trade all the food stored for my life and that of the family I will be sharing the house with if it comes to that.

What he doesn’t seem to understand is that there will be no “gangs”. The area the farm is in is all farms and fishermen, not welfare druggies and pushers. The two roads to anywhere else will close with the first hard rain, as usual, and that will cut off all traffic from outside unless they want to walk thru a mountain range where few live except cobras and other unfriendly critters.

I am by far, safer than he will ever be in the US. I have had 10 years to think about it and to build my future. I doubt I made any mistakes. Time will tell.

“I make more on wall street than your US dole.”

Do you practise being a moron Kevin, or does it just come naturally?

  11. Makati1 on Wed, 13th Dec 2017 1:19 am

Boat: My “dole” has provided me with over $200,000.00 since I retired 10 years ago. With any luck, I will claim another $400K – $500K before my end. But, I suspect the US end will come sooner, cutting down, or eliminating my “dole”. I am prepared for that. Are you?

BTW: Keep paying your taxes so my “dole” can continue. Thanks! lol

“Greg, he is just trying to make everywhere else in the world seem worse then his own drugged up, over gunned, insane neighbors.”
Nope, mad kat, what many of us do here is diminish your view you are better than us when you are not. You are in one of the worst possible locations being in a 3rd world overpopulated Island with no family and 75. You want to tell us how bad it is going to be for us but you deny your own vulnerabilities.

What he and others here never seem to understand that the rest of the world is NOT like the US only with less “stuff”.
WTF, you act like the US is an alien world.

“I doubt that the “gangs” are going to steal the fruit trees or the coffee trees or the chocolate trees or the hand tools, as you said. I would gladly trade all the food stored for my life and that of the family I will be sharing the house with if it comes to that.”
Mad kat, hungry people are going to scour the whole Island of Luzon. You have 53MIL people in an area 40,500 sq/mi. My state (MO) is 69,700 sq/mi and we have 6MIL people. Another thing you fail to see is areas of Luzon are too rugged to live on making the densities even worse. Fisheries around Luzon are near collapse. Forrest have been felled. Pollution is bad. You are a crazy old man.

“I am by far, safer than he will ever be in the US. I have had 10 years to think about it and to build my future. I doubt I made any mistakes. Time will tell.”
You are 75 you don’t have much of a future. Your agenda peddling is trying to cover up you may have made a mistake. You are not safer. I am not saying I am any safer because I have a whole host of issues myself but please don’t try to make me feel unsafe and you safe because you are not safe, you are old, and you have no family to take care of you.

  13. Davy on Wed, 13th Dec 2017 5:30 am

This is where mad kat should have relocated to although his small social security check would not have done much there.

“Switzerland Is Well-Prepared For Civilizational Collapse”

“More than any other country, Switzerland’s ethos is centered around preparing for civilizational collapse.”
“All around Switzerland, for example, one can find thousands of water fountains fed by natural springs.”
“The Swiss political system is also decentralized.”
“In addition, to thousands of military bunkers permeating the Swiss mountains there are several hundred thousand private and public fallout shelters the largest of which can hold some 20,000 people.”
“Buried deep alongside the hydroelectric dams, shelters and food stores, the Swiss also have libraries ready to reboot civilization:”
“It’s no surprise that Nassim Taleb likes Switzerland because this is a country that has made itself anti-fragile in order to survive the black swans of civilizational collapse.”

There has to be growth in demand for oil, what else could there be?

Humans are going to consume fossil fuels by the millions of barrels and tons each day until they are all gone.

The net increase in population is 78,260,000 so far this year and that increase really does create growth in demand.

7.54 billion people, all will have something to eat today. Tomorrow too. Takes oil to catch fish and grow wheat, fish and bread for the masses.

It will take more oil to sustain 80,000,000 more humans each year. At 1/1000th of a barrel per person each day, that is 80,000 bpd growth in demand.

2019 will have another 80,000 bpd growth in demand. Another new peak demand peak.

8.5 billion people about twelve years from now, the more the merrier!

Not until 2063, 2017+46=2063, that date is the end of oil.

Really nothing to worry about until then.

Humans have to rid the world of the renewable energy pie-in-the-sky climate change alarmist fossil fuels are bad clueless fools who make life miserable for everybody except for themselves. You know they are fossil fuel consuming hypocrites gone stark-raving mad in their make believe world of make believe. You know how they lie all of the time.

They are anti-human malignants, they all need to be gone and that day can’t get here soon enough.

I’ll say it again, good riddance.

Besides, it will reduce the growth in demand.

The sooner beaz go extinct the better. We don’t need no stinking pollinators.

Don’t go getting all negitive unless they support sharia law. Lol Btw there is enough oil for the rich and the help for 100 years. One must surf the waves of data to read the the next set.

“One must surf the waves of data to read the the next set.”

    Oh boy.

  18. Apneaman on Wed, 13th Dec 2017 7:34 pm

deadlykillerbeaz, actually it’s denier scum like you who are anti human. Y’all already have blood on your hands and may have to pay for that. If not lynched or given a trial then lynched you & your loved ones will still pay either diretly from some big assed AGW Jacked event or from the knock on social and economic effects. Remember when you start to see your family suffering (totally unavoidable), it’s on you asshole.

Fucks like you clinging to your dead-man-walking beliefs will result in what is really mass murder on a never seen before scale.

You’re the liar you cock sucking cancer. Your country is being destroyed by consequences of AGW which is a consequence of fossil fuel use and the many tumors it enables.

Take a look at what your precious fossil fuels and denial have wrought.

New Science Confirms that Harvey’s Record Rains Were Made Much Worse by Climate Change

Hurricane Harvey barreled into Texas on August 25th of 2017. Over the next six days, it dumped 52 inches of rain across parts of the state, resulted in 800,000 calls for water rescue, caused 80 souls to be lost, and inflicted over 190 billion dollars in damages.

Harvey was the most damaging storm ever to strike the U.S. It was more costly than Katrina and Sandy combined. And recent studies now show that this damage, in large part, was due to climate change’s influence over the storm.

“Due to fossil fuel burning, atmospheric CO2 levels are above 405 parts per million — levels not seen in at least the past 2.5 million years. Meanwhile, total greenhouse gas forcing (after you add in methane and other heat trapping gasses) is at levels not seen in around 15 million years. So we’re now in a world that’s pretty different from what we are used to. A more dangerous world.”

  19. Apneaman on Wed, 13th Dec 2017 7:54 pm

After the news cameras go away the AGW consequences don’t stop.

The Denier Death Cult couldn’t be happier.

Poll finds many Harvey victims saying they still need help

Only through the ongoing and tireless efforts of The Denier Death Cult can we achieve this type of maximum suffering. Thanks Denier Death Cult for making every bad situations badder.

Please don’t ever stop with your denial efforts otherwise the federal government might do something like move and protect people before the disasters hit. We don’t want that. We the anti human Denier Death Cult and we feed off the suffering of others.

  20. deadlykillerbeaz on Thu, 14th Dec 2017 5:25 am

Apneaman, so I take that you have never used any fossil fuels in all of your born days?

    Yeah, right.

You’re another hypocrite in denial and don’t try to deny it.

    Have a good day.

  21. Apneaman on Thu, 14th Dec 2017 1:24 pm

deadlykillerbeaz, you ‘take’ it that way because you are a small minded ideologue who views, the world, courtesy your indoctrination, in black and white.

    Appeal to hypocrisy

“Appeal to hypocrisy (also known as Tu quoque, Latin for, ‘you also’) is an informal logical fallacy that tries to discredit the validity of the opponent’s argument by asserting the opponent’s failure to act consistently in accordance with its conclusion(s).”

In Latin because that’s how long ago some humans spotted the fallacy (older than that even). Of course. the Christians spilled much blood to rub out rational thinking, so perhaps that’s why you and 95% of your fellow idiot countrymen have never heard about logic.

Besides you also ignore the point I’m making, that further denial prevents a country from protecting it’s taxpayer citizens from the inevitable consequences. That stance has already lead to much unavoidable death and suffering – wipe a lot of people out financially.

The other thing, that in spite of the fact that I have pointed it out over 100 times, I have never once advocated for stopping the use of fossil fuels – NEVER. It’s just that trained up American conservatard such as yoursef (all of em) see the term AGW or climate change and your mouths instantly, in Pavlovian style, start barking out the canned think tank responses like” ‘hypocrite’ ‘libtard’ ‘hoax’ ‘climate always changes’ et al stupid shit.

This is a break down- I say & show that you/we/humans need to protect yourselves, family, town & country while you still have the chance or the worst of a bad, locked in situation will come as it has already started.

Your response is that I’m a hypocrite because I use fossil fuels.

Where the fuck is the logic in that?

You are stuck in you 20th century almost dead politics & ideologically that are what have helped speed you to ruin.

It’s simply evolutionary. You either adapt while you can the best you can or you & your die first and worst.

All you dumb asses who believed the libtards who wanted to end fossil fuels have no idea how this human world works. Y’all just took it on faith that you had to stop them when it was never going to happen to any degree that mattered. All you guys have been doing is fighting foe the interests of big oil & ag & a few others who would not concede one fucking bit of their potential profits to the few techno alt energies that could be economically doable.

If the world stopped using fossil fuels today, millions would die withing days and billions would start to suffer.

The idea that the humans could or would give them up shows a gross misunderstanding of human nature and how the human systems function.

Now your only choice is continue with the politics and denial that comes with it and wait, unprotected, for the hammer to fall and it’s knock on effects (like 200,000 Puerto Ricans climate refugees in Florida & illegal use of FEMA/taxpayer funds to rebuild in the exact same spot over & over) or man up and do what needs to be done to lessen the unavoidable blows that are coming.

The US is so far gone, I don’t see much hope for any changes that could help the common man. Neighbors, friends and family like the good old day.

Perhaps it is best to stick with the unwavering tribal loyalty and hope they help you when the time comes.

It’s really just a choice of which winnerless version of musical chairs you want to play.
