Everything Is About To Get More Expensive. This Is Good

Everything Is About To Get More Expensive. This Is Good thumbnail

With America already experiencing the beginnings of an inflation wave that may spiral out of control as a result of trillions in money printing the media is trying to get ahead of the story by claiming that everything becoming more expensive “is good.”

From Business Insider, “Everything is about to get more expensive. It’s a crucial next step for the US economic recovery.”:

– The US economy is headed for a rebound, but it’ll make things more expensive for Americans.

– Experts say the economy won’t overheat, but more demand for things like homes and gas will mean higher prices.

– This is good; inflation like this is a sign of a return to normal and a healthy economic recovery.

Last month, the New York Times told us “critical thinking” is bad, now Business Insider is telling us inflation “is good.”

Lumber prices have shot up some 180 percent since the start of the corona pandemic and hit record highs in February with the price per thousand board feet hitting about $1,000.

“Analysts assumed prices would quickly fall back to earth [after surging in August 2020],” Forbes reported Sunday. “It didn’t happen.”

“The NAHB calculates current lumber prices are adding $24,000 to the price tag of a typical new single-family home.”

“What exactly is going on? Well, when states issued lockdowns in the spring of 2020, sawmills across the nation closed. Cue a falling lumber supply. At the same time Americans quarantining at home realized it was a great time to undergo home renovations or do-it-yourself projects. Cue a rising demand for timber.”

Despite the price surge, there’s no need to worry. It’s good that prices are going crazy and when this inflation wave starts triggering further shortages and panic buying of other products that’s even better because it’s a sign our economy is “returning to normal”!

It’s also good that all our wealth is being siphoned off to parasitic billionaires who’ve bought off all our politicians thanks to the Wall Street corona-bailouts and COVID lockdowns!

It’s far more important that our economy revolve around monopolist rent-seeking operations like Amazon rather than say, lumber mills — which are probably mostly run by evil white men, anyways!

Soon these Big Tech companies will be allowed to form their own governments with taxing power where they can “innovate” all sorts of new ways to censor us all and take away our bank accounts for disagreeing with their extremist political views — that will be double-plus-good!

Thank you, media, for helping prepare us for your glorious future!

Donnie increased US national debt with a stagering 36% and is now at $27T

Making American Debt Great Again (MADGA). You can buy the corresponding cap from me.

Seriously, the US is living way beyond its means.

Expect Biden to add another $5T:

But the US can afford that, as long as the rest of the world is stupid enough to accept the dollar in return for goods delivered.

    Until they don’t.

China is on the verge to break with the status quo.

Everything has been getting more expensive and the reality is being covered up by bullshit numbers. The US is in a depression and the real inflation is close, or over, 10% and climbing. But then, no one wants to hear that do they?

10% means prices double every seven years. Are you prepared?

A very modest improvement over the last 3-4 infrastructure report cards (every 4 years).

U.S. gets ‘C-,’ faces $2.59 trillion in infrastructure needs over 10 years: report

” The United States faces a $2.59 trillion shortfall in infrastructure needs that requires a massive jump in government spending to address crumbling roads, bridges and other programs, according to an assessment by an engineers group issued on Wednesday.”

“The report, published once every four years, gave the United States a “C-” overall — up from a D+ in 2017 — and marked the first time in two decades the country received a “C” range grade — but found the country is spending just over half of what is required, labeling overall U.S. infrastructure in “mediocre condition.”

““We risk significant economic losses, higher costs to consumers, businesses and manufacturers – and our quality of life – if we don’t act urgently,” said ASCE Executive Director Thomas Smith in a statement.

The biggest projected gap is in surface transportation, which faces $1.2 trillion in projected unmet needs over 10 years, while water systems face $434 billion and schools $380 billion in funding gaps.

In total, 11 of 17 categories reviewed merited “D” range grades — “aviation, dams, hazardous waste, inland waterways, levees, public parks, roads, schools, stormwater, transit, and wastewater.” The report cited incremental gains in aviation, drinking water, energy, inland waterways, and ports.”

Tax the fuck out of the criminal elite to pay for it.

Famous, The US is crumbling, no matter what some “engineer group” posts. Who signs their paycheck? When that bridge falls out from under you, will it matter if it was graded D+ or C? It happened on Interstate 95 around Philly when I lived there, and that was 15 years ago.

Taxing the rich will NOT happen. Did you forget they run the country and own the Congressional whores? They will just move it ($$$) offshore, as they already do, by the billion$. Any “tax increases” are to make the tax slaves think they are winning. lol

It will be YOU who gets taxed in a million ways. All of the “taxes” will go up and up as time passes. Not me. I pay zero taxes to the US and only sales tax here in the Philippines, on things I buy that are taxable. You choose ‘wars of choice’ over life supporting infrastructure. Live with it.
    Some of you taxes:
    Federal income tax
    State income tax
    Local income tax
    Sales taxes
    Real estate taxes
    Excise taxes
    And the biggest tax: Inflation.

    Then there are the fees:
    Driver’s license
    Vehicle inspection fees
    Dog license
    Professional license
    Firearms permits
    Construction permits
    Car license
    and on and on.

They already have a money stream … YOU!

Mak, I get milked by the Canadian government & provincially by the BC government & municipally.

I have friends that cry about it going on decades. I don’t because I enjoy my world class health care, adequately maintained 1st world infrastructure & a bunch of other goodies my taxes help pay for. It’s not the very best deal as far as these things go, but it’s right up there. Perhaps the Scandinavia countries are the best deal for Joe six pack, but I have nothing to complain. To date I’ve had a better deal than most humans who have ever or will ever live.

See, unless you are royalty, then you will be taxed. Been that way since the beginning of civilization & it will never change.

I had 9 polyps cut out of my ass pipe 3 years ago. Out of pocket expenses? $20 for pre procedure shitting juice (Peglyte – yuck).

Had a MRI last year. Out of pocket expenses? $0. See the pattern?

I don’t think I pay anymore tax than American Joe six pack. It’s mostly a matter of what do the law makers spend it on.

Where all my tax money go?

The US has blown past $6 trillion in ‘war on terror’ spending since 2001 — and its cost to taxpayers will keep climbing for decades, study says

“Back in March, the Department of Defense estimated that the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria have cost each US taxpayer around $7,623 to date.”

I am getting really fed up with the USA and the globalist agenda they are promoting. The US military is full of high ranking officials that are leftist and globalist. Don’t expect me to help yon in any form, other then making these shitty comments. Same hata toward Canada and Quebec.

Blinken’s speech on US foreign policy

Read the comments in the video. Everyone is fed with US. No the US is not a good world leader. US is a lying, cheating ,deceiving entity control by evil coming from the synagogue of Satan, also know as Israel.

THe US and Israel humiliate themselves more and more everyday, pretending to know what is good for the world, when i fact they want to control the world, the people of the world and the natural resources of the world.

Famous, but your government is so far up the US asshole it has no freedoms to act independent of Amerika. So a few “free” goodies offsets sovereignty? My sister has free medical with Medicare. So what? She paid for it over her working years in taxes, so it wasn’t “free”.

I don’t have Medicare coverage here, but then I have to pay only $15 total for specialist office visits and $50 per day if I ever have to go to the hospital. Dental, 1/4, or less, than in the US. Etc. And the quality of care is better than in Amerika. But then, I have not been to a doctor in over 10 years. Having a healthy lifestyle most of my life is paying off today. ^_^

As for taxes, you are paying for that “free” service one way or another. There is no free lunch in the real world, only profit.

Cloggie: What blew up the Hindenburg?

Answer: A spark ignited the highly flammable gas and caused the end of dirigible travel. WIKI

So, the Saudi idiots want to build a flammable gas/bomb line across many countries? LMAO! Go for it idiots!

BTW: The same will be true of hydrogen fueled vehicles. How many deaths until they disappear also? I wouldn’t want one if you gave it to me. But then they are also just techie wet dreams.

  15. Cloggie on Sat, 6th Mar 2021 9:39 am

“Cloggie: What blew up the Hindenburg?”

Jeez, that was 1937. Any idea how much hydrogen global industry produces each year?

    70 million ton

Never heard of a Hindenburg disaster ever since. Putting hydrogen in a balloon is indeed a stupid idea. But not in a steel container.

Besides, there are so many alternative ways to store hydrogen in a non-explosive fashion:

    formic acid
    the list goes on…

Here is the latest from Fraunhofer: magnesiumhydride cartridge, you can click in your motorcycle and drive of, on hydrogen:

    “Fraunhofer Hydrogen Powerpaste”

Sure mak. Who knows more about Canada than you eh? Hell Canada is all you ever talk about. I bet you wrote your PhD thesis on Canadian geopolitics. I’ll wager 1/3 of your massive library consists of Canadian history books.

Ok super scholar please explain to us why in 2003, when the US was knocking itself out trying to build a “coalition of the willing”, for their Iraq invasion which they had tons of ‘solid evidence’ for, Canada said, NO! go find some other dupes?

Don’t sound like America’s bitch to me. Sounds like a sovereign nation doing what it wants

What about Vietnam? Same answer NO! No & we let your draftees who did not have rich parents like Trump & Bush to get them out of serving, come on up & sit it out. Drink some real beer, learn the fastest & toughest sport ever – hockey. The Canadian government never lifted a finger when Uncle Sam asked for their ‘draft dodgers’ back – FUCK YOU.

The two world wars? Canada was fighting in them for years before the US grew a pair.

So, all the facts point to a sovereign nation who does what it wants.

You’ re confusing Canada with Australia.

That kind of thing happens when you’re mind is old & feeble. Time to hang it up old man.

  17. makati1 on Sat, 6th Mar 2021 3:57 pm

Canada, the UK and Australia are all Amerikan colonies. US ass kissing, retarded, countries. At least Mexico has balls and says no to Amerikan demands.

Past history is not today, Famous. The US owns Canada.

Mak, your beloved gook land has been taking Uncle Sam’s cock up it’s ass for over a century.

After more than a century, did the Philippines finally break free from the United States?

Possibly. But to truly be free, the nation must also steer clear of China’s grasp.

“When Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte announced on Feb. 11 that he was terminating the 1998 Visiting Forces Agreement between his nation and the United States, some people — including officials from Malacañang, the Philippine equivalent of the White House — argued that this was the latest step in the long process of breaking free of the colonial chains that continue to shackle the fate of the Philippines to the United States.

But will this decision actually mark a significant break from the United States and its military? The answer is unclear, and even if it does, it may not mean the Philippines is free from having a foreign overlord.

No other country, except perhaps Spain, is as linked to the Philippines as the United States. For decades, the United States ruled over the Philippines because, along with Puerto Rico and Guam, it became a U.S. territory with the signing of the 1898 Treaty of Paris and the defeat of the Filipino forces fighting for independence during the 1899-1902 Philippine-American War. (While not officially called a colony, this distinction was meaningless in reality.)”

Mak, which country is America’s bitch?

bahaha you tried to run away from the US & you chose the P’s….good choice..bahaha

Uncle Sam, he luv us long time.

  20. makati1 on Sun, 7th Mar 2021 3:54 pm

Famous, and why is that? Maybe because they took the Philippines away from the Spanish and made it a slave colony for over 50 years?

Maybe it was because the US did a ‘color revolution’ and put a dictator (Marcos) in place for a number of years before the Filipinos kicked his ass out?

Perhaps it was because the last few Presidents here were Amerikan brainwashed in Amerikan universities and sucked the Amerikan dick?

However, Duterte was NOT US educated, but a Filipino educated lawyer and has turned away from The US and towards China and Russia. He basically told Obayme to go to hell and ignored the bullshit from Trumpet. He has told the US to pay for their troops to be here or leave and nukes are not allowed. He knows that the US just wants to use the Philippines like they use the Ukraine, Syria, Iraq, etc. as a location to fight their ‘wars of choice’. He isn’t stupid like the previous presidents.

But then, you obviously have zero idea what is happening here except from the US propaganda machine. Typical brainwashed serf.

BTW: That Filipinos speak English, was one of the reasons I relocated here. Some good came of the US presence that forced English to be used in the school system for several generations. English is the current language of world business so it is a benefit to Filipinos too.
