How Big Oil Conquered the World

TRANSCRIPT AND SOURCES: From farm to pharmaceutical, diesel truck to dinner plate, pipeline to plastic product, it is impossible to think of an area of our modern-day lives that is not affected by the oil industry. The story of oil is the story of the modern world. And this is the story of those who helped shape that world, and how the oil-igarchy they created is on the verge of monopolizing life itself.

Big Oil didn”t conquer the world. The allure of modernity and the power that all this energy gave mankind proved to enticing to resist

We live in the oil age.

Back in the 1950s it looked like we might move on to the atomic age but that didn’t work out. . Now some think we will move on to the wind age or the solar age. But for now we still live in the oil age.

You forgot to blame something called, ‘the obama administration’ for the oil age, plantetard. You know were still IN the oil age now, and I’m pretty sure your god-hero must have promised you the oil age was over or soon would be at some point along the way, so, not sure how you missed this opportunity to drag your hero and gods name up again. Senile and retarded perhaps?

It should be ‘How Refiners Like the Koch Brothers Conquered the World’.

Fred Koch, the father, also the brainchild of a new refining process that made refining crude into gasoline an easy job, started it all.

A refiner conquered the oil industry, took it by storm.

1927 Fred C. Koch develops innovative refining process.

Oil is here to stay and if it has to be oil from plants like peanuts and soybeans, it can be done and will have to be done if oil goes away.

It is going to take a while, but it eventually will happen.

In fifty years, there will be a completely different picture, it won’t be what it is now.

The Industrial Age is not going to go away.

If diesel fuel were to be in short supply, you won’t be getting any field work done by farmers, a guarantee.

No fuel to run tractors, it is not going to be a pretty picture in the fall when harvest comes around and no combines on the move. It all means disaster. Your daily bread won’t be there in a few months. Several days later, the outlook will be bleak.

Farming needs diesel and oil to get the job done.

No fuel for merchant marine vessels and there will be no haddock, no cod for your fish and chips.

You’ll be on your own. A retard.

Soon afterwards, you’ll probably join the armed forces for survival.

That is how it probably will be with no oil for your daily needs.

Refining oil is where it’s at. Just ask the Koch Brothers.

Oil has conquered your world, not big oil.
