Meanwhile, keep watching for shortage reports, because we should start seeing some sneak in this week, if our doom-o-meter is calibrated correctly.

Considering that he holds the record for most posts per day and that he caused so much controversy in 2007...I vote for Roccman as poster of the year for 2007.

Can he get some kind of recognition in his title for this?

I think both pup and dantespeak should get it. Those guys are on fire with the data analysis.

Why is there no "other" option -- for write in candidates. Seriously, there are so many people who offer so much solid info about preparation and skills, etc. I would like to have written in a name or two. Lumpy

The chance for a write-in candidate was the last ten days when this was opened up for nominations. There are a series of threads about this stickied to the top of the open forum. I know there are people who probably don't go to open forum and didn't realize this, but I don't know what more I can do.

Well Tyler

Causing the most crotroversy?

Hmmmmmmm...

From Savinar to Monte to AP - I can assure you if you look back at every thread that I was the "cause of controversy"...you would see that I did not fire the first shot.

Mess with the bull get the horns...savvy? A tag line Tyler? Aaron bestowed "the hammer" ...I am fine with that... only one like it on the entire site.

That said - and I have really only visited the home page a handful of times since I registered...I just saw my naame in the running last night for poster of the year.

I have very little desire to be poster of the year (although I did vote for myslef...hey can ya blame me).

I think I post interesting stuff...but I look to Pup55, Dantes for the real data. Were it not for them and a hadful of others (Steam Cann, Thread Bear, Tanada, Duke, Carlhole, Eli, Emerson B, Mr. Bill) I would not stay here.

Well I think it's great to be on that list. I guess people liked a few of my posts, who knew!

My favorite poster is Roccman , just because he keeps up on articles like this:

"Crisis may make 1929 look a 'walk in the park'".

But everybody has their specialty and different things they wanted to contribute. I just visit here now and then for the free popcorn. But there are some posters who have put in enormous amounts of time and effort. So this is a good chance for us to recognize that.

Seahorse correctly called the subprime crisis first before it was publicly news - arguably the most important event of 2007 - so that is why I nominated him. MrBill.

I agree with Tyler...This poll is very similar to the Time Magazine edition, My vote goes to Rocco.

Roccman gets my vote because I find him to be one of the most unlikable douche bags in the history of the internet. That's definitely a remarkable accomplishment.

Ludi for her kindness, others are very good too i wish it wasn't a radio but a checkbox where i could vote for Dante, Mr Bill, Rocco, etc... I guess I would just check everybody but they really deserve it, others like mmasters should be here too, well i admit i have problems with making decisions
