However we considera corpse as an inanimate shell of a formerly living being. Given all the sticklers for definitions of dead and undead we should have provided that category. Frankensteins would fall under Victorian-era-Cyborg
I would be all about werewolf if that option presented itself. Now all I can be is some hippie turning a compost heap in some eco-village outside Kenosha.

It truly is sad to see, but hey, I guess you all should have paid attention in school and not skipped class/college to work on your stock car and drink Busch Light with your hair-stylist girlfriends. Because, believe me, there are plenty of you out there.
I used to get upset at my parents for making me study and go to college and law school. But now, as I realize that I have a trade that will be necessary as we slowly lose the very structure that holds our country together, I just can't help but think that Darwin was right.
And yes, there will be a legal system post peak, so don't bother trying to point that out. The wealthy will make sure of it. |

Here's one for you. Take the Cheesy Hashbrowns HH and make about 4 eggs over-easy along side it. When completed, set the eggs on top, break the yolk, and mix it all together. You won't be disappointed. |

My plan is:
1. I am changing career to the energy field to be part of building and maintaining large scale systems. Or start a company to produce and sell smaller systems.
2. Becoming part of government on two levels. Local politics in my municipial and input to state politics. And practical work in the Swedish home guard and possible in civil defence.
3. I will probably build a fairly self sufficent vacation cottage to care for friends and family and if I have kids they will live part time in an environment whose workings are not hidden.
I would do anny of these regardless of peak oil, peak oil is not what is driving my life, it only adds extra opportunity to be usefull and of course extra stress if the peak happens soon.

Well I don't see any substance in your comments. You dispute peak oil & call it a hoax, but previously state that you will be well paid for representing people who steal when gas reaches $5 a gallon. You can't have it both ways, so here is a little substance experiment for you, to put it in perspective.
Go & buy a 10gallon jug of your preferred soft drink or alcohol & make sure its in a non see through container with a very tall narrow neck, so you can't look inside. Now drink small random amounts daily for a week, then invite a few friends around for the weekend, repeat. Now without keeping accurate records of consumption or picking the jug up, predict when it will run out !?
You have an advantage that you know exactly how much was there to begin with, geologists have to use guess work. You don't care how much there is, but geologists pay & bonus depend on it. They have a vested interest in getting their guesses as accurate as possible, you can just spend another $50 on a new jug, they get compaines to invest millions to develop a field.
Now who's point of view do you think I'm going to accept ? If I've got a legal question, I'll go to one of your colleagues for expert advice, for Hydrocarbon geology I'll go to a specialist hydrocarbon geologist !!!
Like Hubbert etc, no book sales there, just an honest expert opinion. People ask for mine everyday in my field (network communication) & I'm sure your clients ask for yours. Neither of us is always right, but the more often you are proven right, the more often people will believe what you say. Hubbert & Campbell get my vote, the politicians don't.
This may not be considered sunstance, but its equal to anything you contributed.
