Islamic State ‘gets tougher’ in face of air strikes

A new message purporting to come from the leader of Islamic State said air strikes by Russia and a U.S.-led coalition had failed to weaken the group.

“Be confident that God will grant victory to those who worship him, and hear the good news that our state is doing well. The more intense the war against it, the purer it becomes and the tougher it gets,” said the audio recording, described as by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

The authenticity of the message, posted on Saturday on Twitter accounts that have published Islamic State statements in the past, could not be verified.

It slammed Saudi Arabia’s efforts to set up a coalition of Muslim nations to fight his group.”If it was an Islamic coalition, it would have declared itself free from its Jewish and Crusader lords and made the killing the Jews and the liberation of Palestine its goal,” the message said.

The militant Sunni Islamist group controls swathes of Iraq and Syria but has come under intensifying military pressure in recent weeks.

A U.S.-backed alliance of Syrian Kurds and Arab rebel groups, backed by U.S. coalition planes, said it captured a Syrian dam on Saturday from Islamic State, cutting a main supply route of the militants across the Euphrates.

In Iraq, government troops were pushing deeper into the heart of the last remaining district held by Islamic State in the city of Ramadi.

The last such online public message said to be by Baghdadi was posted in May. He has been reported injured or killed several times in fighting, apparently incorrectly.

ISIS is getting their ass kicked by the Russians. Nuff said.

Chaos is profitable if you sell weapon systems and bullets/missiles/bombs.

Somehow,I doubt this al-bageldady even actually exists. Clearly the US is grooming him as an Osama Bin Rogens type replacement. After years of ‘fighting’ a ‘caliphate’ that had no leaders, no gov’t, no capital, no formal, or even informal structures of any kind, I guess the US has changed its mind and decided to try to put an actual face in charge of ‘ISIS’. You know, to stir up the proles.

The media writers are up to their tricks again. It seems like the 849th latest way to practice social manipulation, now its presumed both religions have the same God. Right before this, the media writers say ‘undocumented immigrants’ instead of ‘illegal aliens’. Now when the terrorist refers to God, its just ‘God’ when it should be written up as ‘Allah’.

I guess its sort of a way of throwing a mud-ball at all religions, maybe that is OK. Am I missing something?

If the Russians are kicking ass and taking names why are they still at it? The same thing will happen to the Russians that happens to all major powers that kick ass and take names and that is mission creep. Putin’s Middle Eastern adventure and military toy game is going to drag on at the same time the global economy and oil tank.

These ISIS folks just have to hang on and they win. The Russians will never win hearts and minds that is clear. The Russians have made it clear they want to bomb the Sunni into the Stone Age.

Some here want to sing a Russian vivtory when those who know history no the results of conflicts like we see in Syria. As long as the Sunni have resupply and safe sanctuary the Russians will be bled to death. They will win the battles but lose the war. The US has proved this time and time again. The US could afford it back then Russia can’t. No nation can anymore including the US.

Putin’s gamble may yet pay off but every month this drags on is another nail in the heart of his grand Mid East aspirations. I give Putin another 8 months to make or break this battle. If he is still there he is toast at least from the point of view of mission accomplished without pain and a glory denied. Putin is a megalomaniac who craves glory. He may be a modern Caesar.

Go Russia! Russians are getting some very low cost real life training in Syria. Every bomb they drop and every day they resist is a triumph. It is extremely important to keep the USA, NATO, the GCC, and all other terrorist sponsors from profiting from dealing with terrorists. We must all understand that the destruction of the USA and its terrorist allies will be economic, not military.

Every day that passes the USA and its minions are closer to being completely bankrupt. The people of the world are waiting for the right time to deal the final blow. It’s like I always say, the USA is destroying itself, all we have to do is sit back and enjoy the show. Popcorn anyone?

What is so inconvient for the Bricophilies is the US is still standing but the Brics are a mess. Just a few months ago there was the grand talk of the Bric bank and a Russo-Chinese military and economic alliance crushing the west. Article after article and comment after comment proclaimed this as the new paradigm.

All I heard was how the dollar was dead and the Yuan was rising like a phoenix. Today we see this is so far from the truth. There are some “hard cores” on our board that still sing this song but today that song is comically empty like Baghdad Bob as the American tanks rolled through the city.

“There are some “hard cores” on our board that still sing this song but today that song is comically empty like Baghdad Bob as the American tanks rolled through the city.”

This is the exact reason why the rest of the world has had enough of the USA. People are fed up with the empire’s illegal, unjust, and immoral reign of violence, death and destruction.

Or to dumb it down in simplistic terms that even the ugly American himself might be able to understand, “Shock and Awe”. Fuck-ya!

When you go fishing on this board certain bait catches different characters. I love fishing because it exposes the nasty empty agendas this board has degenerated into.

Some of the worst contributors have the worst language that is a marker for a hot head with “idea block”. They use nasty language and personal attacks because they have nothing else in their head. Foul language and personal attacks are a sure sign of an empty intellect.

Go Speed, both Muslims and Christians/Jews share the same god, just different prophets. Do some research and you will see that I am correct.

Muslims tell ISIS they’d rather see Star Wars than fight in Syria

Twitter users ask for a raincheck, point out that they still don’t know what happened to Jon Snow

“ISIS released a message it claims is from the terrorist organization’s leader Saturday, asking Muslims to join him in Iraq and Syria. Many Muslims, however, took the opportunity to mock him on Twitter instead.”
