On one side I'm happy for the drop, on the other I know...I KNOW it'll kill alternatives and people will have it in their heads "Well, we just gotta drill more".

Good for the short term, but even worse for the long term (The price drop that is)

So what is with the initial post, phony or what? Bloomberg has the price of Brent Crude, August 14, New York time 20:10, is $113.68; WTI Crude is $114.70.

Wouldn't it be ironic if it was a screw up in the wrong direction. Brent spikes to $163/bbl...
