I highly recommend the natural child-birth gig. The classes are great. When it comes to the actual birth, there is a lot of hollering and asking for drugs but its too late by that point. They get over it soon enough and will forgive you.  |

At my 18 week ultrasound, my son was determined to be a girl with 90% probability by the doctor. Turns out he was quite adequately endowed with male parts, but wasn't in a great position to see them. Here's a FAQ with some good pix to help you figure out how sure you should be about the gender based on what you saw:

As a genealogist, I would suggest that you look back in both of your family lines, and see what family (first or surname) names might appeal to you.
Personally, if I had had a daughter, I would have leaned towards: Gillian, Chloe, Emily, and Madison.

Choose a name to honor one of the ladies from which she came.
Then when she asks about her name (or maybe before) you two can tell her a little about the life of the lady for which she was named.

I concur with Pops, all but "Daniella" and "Delia" in our list comes from someone who we were either related to and had a positive impact or a woman who was a great influence on one of those women.
