Don't let those girls know you think they are dumb (they are cute), or you'll never get some!
(of course they could be relatives, which would be wrong)

| haha don't worry, I'm smarter than that. I would only say that to girls that I consider relatively intelligent. Most of them just start to grumble and call me a sexist. But my ideas on gender weren't pushed into me by my Dad or some silly notion. I just started reading about climate change and peak oil, population overshoot, major international political issues etc. As I talked to people, I began to notice a massive divide between guys and girls. I sit and listen on the bus, if I had their discussions written on paper and handed to me I could easily determine the gender of the speaker. Sure there is the odd one out, but for the vast majority the female population is stuck in a world of sunshine and lollipops. I feel bad for female peak oilers because they must have to deal with stupid friends all the time. I must say, though, that I did meet a very pretty survivalist (female) the other weekend so I'll keep my major criticisms to myself. |

The dark hair one is cute Nich. How's it going with that?
Here's some pics from my camping trip :
That was the stream right near where I camped. Probably could have taken a better shot (there were plenty of waterfalls upstream). I actually drank a couple gallons or so out of this stream. Probably not the best of ideas (especially since I didn't fully boil it) but I survived to tell the tale (probably wouldn't do it again)! :D
The inside of my tent. I brought a bunch of books but only read two. That "Inside the Rainbow" was pretty decent fiction. The author sent it to me for free, he told me he's sent me his latest book if I reviewed that one. I found his e-mail in some Amazon comments where some lady was dissing Kunstler's book (and he's like, if you want a better one, e-mail me and I'll send you mine for free)
The view from my tent flap.
Me resting.
Some local herbs :
Artemisia Vulgaris, aka : Mugwort. Supposedly it helps protect against poison oak (which I did my best to avoid). I did notice vivid dreams (which it supposedly helps with) but that is a common feature for me anyway.
Claytonia Perfoliata (aka : miner's lettuce). The stuff is pretty tasty. Supposedly it kept early settlers to the regime (California gold miners) from dying of scurvy. _________________ My PO Amazon store (shameless plug). |

The bikes are great and I think you're making the right decision
about letting the bikes go. Hard thing to do though, being they're such
good ones...
The cat's cute!
Nice chessboard!
The look on your face kind of says: "Stop the world, I want to get off!"
That's how my wife would describe that look.
Also your pictures kind of remind me of how in Russian style
photography and culture people don't put on fake smiles like
here in the US. They take a picture of how they look and
that's how they look. Your pictures kind of reminded me of that.
Keep well,
SC |

That must have been an exciting Summer. Your baby looks really bored.

Isn't she! Maya's adorable, and she was born with that hair! It makes her look like a miniature toddler, more than a regular bald baby. A friend of mine who is balding, expressed surprise that he could actually be jealous of the hair of a newborn baby. |

That's weird! Then you'll have had a similar experience with everyone falling in love with the hair. Great fun isn't it.
