Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

The BBC has a British Airways advertising banner at the top of its news site:

BBC News

Anybody know about this? (I thought the BBC was non-commercial and paid for by extortion from the serfs.)

They have been doing it for a couple of weeks now....but only for those of us outside the UK. The trigger was the last review of funding for the Beeb, where the government did not allow the license fee to go up as much as was needed to provide the same standard of services. One result is those of us who are not in a position to pay the license fee will have to see selected adverts.

Click here for what the Beeb has to say about the changes: BBC - What's Changing

Thanks, I hadn't heard about that. No banner now, so it isn't 24 hours a day.
