Welcome to the new Book/Media Reviews Section!
The intention behind this sub-forum is to bring together, in an easy-to- browse place, reviews of all the literature, publications, audio/video and professional presentations that have made their way into public purvue. So, if you have either written yourself or have seen other reviews of books such as Powerdown or High Noon for Natural Gas, DVDs such as End of Suburbia, Newspaper or Journal articles, or Interviews, etc., please put them here.
I will begin by bringing already existing Review Threads (or parts thereof) to this area.
Proviso: Please be aware that to preserve the modicum of professionalism this Section needs to have, I will be moderating it very closely and will be pruning out anything that doesn't pass the minimum critical-thinking-content-level test. Cogent comments that are not directly reviews will be moved to an appropriate Discussion area.
Lastly, there is also already another Reviews resource at Peakoil.com: link that can be used for cross-referencing. _________________ --------------------------------

Thanks a million to everyone for making this the useful resource that it is becoming. Thanks also to Admin Sr. for letting me get this going. The ROI dividends are worth the real-estate it's taking up, by my estimations.
Not to be saccharin sentimental, but I'm liking the way this is turning out. _________________ --------------------------------

I should point out again thanks to a tickler from Aaron that formal reviews are being collected and posted here: link
I see it's under the News section. May I recommend, Aaron, that somewhere in this Header:
Welcome to Reviews Section
Reviews
Peer Reviews
at the top of that page, we craft some language to make clear what's going on there, what to expect and what/how to post? _________________ --------------------------------

I'm looking forward to reviews of the books listed on link when they're available. _________________ --------------------------------

On the other hand......
If everyone can more or less follow the treads and can find what they are looking for, I can leave it as is.
Or.... if there are suggestions for organizing the content, I'm all ear-eyes.
{Bas, let me know if you had a system going here that I might muck up if I go and change things. Thx.} _________________ --------------------------------

What you're looking at there is ancient (dates back almost 4 years). A number of permutations of other Resources we tried setting up astride this subforum have come and gone already. As far as I know, none of them exist or are used anymore; what you see here is what remains. _________________ --------------------------------
