How then, do we move backwards? How does a society, with most of the people having no clue of future events, move from being dependent on a vast and intertwined network of goods and services produced by the indigenous people of whereever, to a local resource and renewable energy based society, and do so in the timeframe available (20-30 years using the most liberal extimates, 10-20 with resonable estimates, 5-10 with worst case scenarios), all the while prices on everything increasing, world politics getting more militaristic, governments continuously reducing civil liberties, shortages of goods on the market and weather patterns resembling bad Hollywood movies?

To whom it may concern:
I'd like to be able to add a forum RSS feed to the new bot I have running in #peakoil on EFNet. The news feed for the main page works fine, but it seems there is something wrong with the forums RSS. Is this due to a plugin needed to make phbb compatible with RSS not working properly? Some other issue? Any input is appreciated. Thanks! _________________ Reality is agreed perception. Google's RSS Reader sees it fine. _________________ "When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." - Stephen F Roberts.

Okay, I'll plead ignorance on this. I click the RSS feed for the forums at the bottom of the page, and I get nothing. The news feed gives me a nice XML page. Here's a couple of pics. I don't think it's operator error since I have gotten other feeds to work using the same tcl script. Any ideas? Am I just not understanding something?
