NYMEX Crude Oil (Light) ........................121.20 5.64 NYMEX NYH RBOB Gasoline (Globex) ...... 3.0421 .1318

Don’t worry, just a little bump - $70 is just around the corner. Short traders just keep making those margin calls, mortgage the house if you have to. Fortunes await you! PO is for pansies and doomers. At $70 short some more ..... it is going back to $22 .... the world is awash with oil ........ reality has nothing to do with it, its all in those charts!!!!!!!!!!

We shall have to change our ways of living; it could be dramatic for us all.

But in case such a predicament materialises, the better off will definitely be the bedouins of Saoudi Arabia living under their tent in the desert, feeding themselves with dates & milk, because they need a very small amount of electricity to power theirTV sets & their refrigerators.
This electricity is delivered free from the sun through the solar panels British Petroleum has sold them in the last 20 years.

Are we prepared to return to such simple ways of living or are we the slaves of always more waste for the profit of a small gang of big capitalists predators.

Mind you the dear bedouins already know they are on the right track, thanks God!

It's never too late to open our blue eyes and gear our brains to our very reality.

I tend to think that the whole western world is now in the same basket;trapped.

But as we are supposed to be the better informed & educated,we should be capable to deliver good solutions now.Are we ?
Or are we more precisely suffering from a culture problem. Some sort of incompatibility or inadequacy.
This is truely my concern.Because it will incapacitate our will.

I'd say within 5-8 years after the peak will real consequential effects of depleted oil hit us. This is because by then the number fudging game will be over and the reality will hit us that oil is not plentiful anymore.

The U.S. is too set in its ways, and too dependent on modern technology. Innovative people who have ingenuity and resourcefulness, are most likely working for companies that contribute to the peak oil problem, and are directing their efforts in the entirely wrong direction.

We have very few people who actively work toward making survival in a post-peak world possible. Americans will have to learn fast or they'll be a die-off. I'm sure they will, but probably not after there's been plenty of bloodshed over remaining resources. In the beginning, you'll probably just have thousands upon thousands of people waiting on government handouts of rations and necessities. (if they should be so generous).
