For a minute there I thought I had to get off my couch, when all the while the fact is we don't have to do anything much but keep things afloat for just a few decades more! In fact, we'd best shut up about PO, because if our offspring finds out we knew about it all along, they'll turn and wring our necks come 2036!
Let me start by saying that I love to visit this site. It is extremely informative and one of the best peak oil sites out there.
That being said, I think you should consider having a contest to redesign the site. The front page in particular could be streamlined much better. One thing I get annoyed by is clicking on a link for a story, then being sent to another page where I have to click on another link to get to the original story.
Another site that I use a lot (RawStory.com) did something similar and will be rolling out a much better version of their site down the road. Not everything has to change, I'm thinking more along the lines of minor tweaks and enhancements.

I vote to keep things the way they are and concentrate on maintenance to ensure we get a reliable delivery of information and allows us to share thoughts and ideas.
There are enough problems in the world to think about without worrying about whether it should be two clicks or three to see a news article.
I think the admin staff have done a most commendable service providing this website out of their own valuable time.
