I think this is the beginnings of an economy based on perpetual growth and fossil fuel energy running headlong into geological energy constraints. Basically I see an undulatory downward path for the rest of my life. Thanks, there does seem to be an increasing amount of attention in the mainstream press.

You can sign up for Google news alerts - of course you'll have to put up with the "Fascist" sites.

Use "peak oil" and "oil peak"

I use the quotation marks to get results containing only the whole phrase; I don't have time to read 30 or more articles a day!
