I grew amaranth about 5 years ago. That stuff grows like a weed! It gets huge too. I never even got around to trying it, since i was experimenting. It will come back the next year because a trillion seeds feel into the soil, at least in my case.

Millet is an interesting one for me, since i have a couple of birds. I would think if wild birds found out what you were growing the plants would be stripped clean, that stuff is like cocaine for birds.
