Is that the closing price? It had briefly touched $68 the other day.

$67.50 seems to be the closing price.

I dont think yahoo has NYMEX tickers.

However, you can go to here to see prices of oil, gas, heating oil, electricity, and natrual gas :

It's usually something like WTIC or LSCO but I'm not sure you can get it on Yahoo Finance.

Any of you chart watchers have a link to see the difference between light/sweet and heavy/sour prices? Or even the symbol for heavy stuff?

We're all wishing there was one.

About all you can do is look up the "sweet/sour spread" which gives the difference between the price of WTI and heavier sourer grades like Mars or Maya. There's a growing chorus of voices asking for centralized trading of heavier, sourer oil though, so I figure it's only a matter of time.

I have found that if I take the price of oil per barrel and divide by 25, I get my local price of gas per gallon. (Or, more easily in my head, multuply by 4 and divide by 100.)

So I expect that sometime in the next few days I will be paying $80/25=$3.20 per gallon.
