Will do, Pops. Humor is the best, well maybe the second best, medicine. Anyway, I had a nice day at work with the 7th graders. This girl in the last period wanted to know what would happen if she didn't get her assignment done. I told her I would keep her after school until she got it done even if it took until 9 o'clock to get it done. Kept a straight face and looked stern. Then I had to say I was just kidding. This other girl said a sub once kept her after school for misbehaving. I said that I have never done that and why would I want to spend another minute with some kid who pissed me off? Then we got into a conversation about California's debt crisis and some boy asked me about solar cars. I gave them the low down on that. Nice, noisy and normal kids. I feel sorry for their grim future.
