Who is "we" Kemo-sabe?

Consider the messenger... any guy on the internet can get an account on this forum and predict whatever they like. Last time I checked there was not an editorial board which sorted through the predictions in order to come to some "we" consensus.

Some people here are worth listening to; others are not. Each of us has to decide for ourselves which is which.

You, me, and the hundreds who opine herein daily. Could a moderator please help me with the ad hominem --a violation of the COC--, and keep this thread within its topic? Thanks!

There is no forecast date, but I thought it should be included in the bold predictions.

Undershoot likelihoods by my estimation now are around 1B if we don't go Thermonuclear. 100M or less if we start tossing the Nukes around.

This is only my prediction... no "we" involved.

In my mind the most obvious thing to be getting ready for is the collapse of Mexico and refugees fleeing north; not looking for jobs but fleeing violence and looking for food.

Obama will have to militarlize the southern border due to the collapse of Cantrell.

Maybe that will mean some sweet government contracts for my dad (a truck-driver) to take emergency supplies to the refugee camps?

Some will be smart and jump from their penthouses before their butlers drag them into the streets, but the people will still label them and drag them around town anyway and put them on poles. Not long now.

I invented the "economy is tanking". That bitch stole my idea.

I could tell you what it means. It means everything will be _f_u_c_k_e_d_ up beyond all repair and military on your street corner asking for your papers and receiving rations for forced labor for working for the elite.

True. How many times were we supposed to be at war with Iran by now?

I agree. Someone (not me, because I'm working to keep up with current Bold Predictions) - Someone should start a "Oh you were so full of it" false predictions thread. It would be more work because of having to unearth the dopey predictions.

With no intentions whatsoever of flaming, that's what I plan to do with these bold predictions expire. I feel like, on this site, the bolder and more popular the prediction, the smaller the chances of materializing.

Here's one from my own life this week. A bank offered to refinance our ARM mortgage into a fix rate to take advantages of incredibly low rates. True, they're very low, but we passed. Our ARM was re-set downwards in mid-September to an affordable rate for us. My bold prediction is, if that's even bold, interest rates will stay very low for the next 9 months and perhaps our ARM will even lower then. TBD. I'll keep you posted.

If I had more time on my hands I would do this ... it would be quite amusing.

How many people really are psychologically prepared for the fact that LAWKI is at an end, and they will about surely be in desperate poverty in a few years, if they are lucky enough to be alive? This is not an easy thing to wrap your mind around of course, we see the problem with it in the daily arguments here on PO.com.

It is coming out more and more in the MSM all the time though. You just can't can't keep a lid on Armageddon forever.

Conclusion: Pakistan and India are going to WAR. Nobody is backing down here, and most certainly nobody is listening to American Diplomats preaching "reason". What country on earth believes these clowns anymore about anything?

Meanwhile, or troops are hung out to dry with no good escape out of Afghansitan. Well stocked with preps, plenty of guns and bullets but no way out. They will Bravely Fight to the last man, all be awarded the CMH like Gunny Highway, except they won't be coming back. We will conscript more cannon fodder to exact retribution for this unprovoked attack on our Peace Keeping Mission.

You can call this many things. Intelligence is not one of them.

If the United States troops in Afghanistan suffer 30% causality rate or greater during 2008 or 2009 wisconsin_cur will wear a dunce cap. Anything less and reverseengineer will.

If not, please suggest an alternative.

I would agree to that as a fair bet IF we could depend on the MSM to accurately report a 30% Casualty rate, which they won't. If they get some out, it will be with only "few" casualties. It would only be in the case the whole army there gets taken out would that be reproted, and then only to rev up the Patriotic Fervor to avenge our Troops so savagely murdered when all they were trying to do was keep the "Peace".

Alternatives? I can't think of one, since I won't believe MSM reports of low casualties and you will use MSM reports of low casualties as the Word of God. We can keep arguing the issue though at least until we are entirely OUT of Afganistan OR they are all dead. Those two possibilities should be obvious enough and not spinnable all that well by the statisticians in the MSM.
