Didn't see anything on the website reguarding US troops, just a bunch of stuff on terrorism from the jewish perspective. Seemed pretty biased, but still, I couldn't find the info anyway? Maybe it's in the archives.

Debka deleted the info right after it spreaded all across Europe like fire. There are still some breaking news about it left on mainstream media, but are disappearing very fast.

Crap, why does my brother have to be in eygpt learning arabic when i need him here to translate that?

Now this is not "new" as others have pointed out. In the first monthes of the war, there was much talk of cross border ops against Saddam Loyalists...Bashir even handed us Sadams 1/2 Brother and pledged to stop supporting it...

It's possible Syria started it up again with US threats/actions tword Sancions...the Lebanon-Israel border has heated up to almost 1970's levels of shelling/rocketing...and the dogs are circling for the fight...

Yes Debka is full of propaganda, I leave it up to y'all to pick out the coffie beans from the camel poop.

It seems typical of wars that they're aren't contained within the neat borders of the countries that are fighting them. I think the United States had similar issues in Vietnam. Border skirmishes and raids against opponents hiding across borders is one thing. However, I'd be quite surprised if the US started a war with another country at this point. We can't win the war we now have. We can't keep our soldiers in the Army except by threat of force, and we're having trouble recruiting more. The biggest problem is that we'd bankrupt ourselves by expanding our armed conflicts. We're almost at that point now. We cannot afford to fight anyone else. We can hardly afford to fight the people we're now fighting.

debka.com is reporting about 30 Syrian causulties, and 11 US Casualties

The fight was supposedly between Marines and Syrian border gaurds when operational orders took the Marines into Syrian territory.
