Shell Plans to Increase Arctic Exploration – Executive

Schlumberger – Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA) plans to increase its exploration and development drive in the Arctic regions, particularly in the Alaskan Beaufort Sea in the next year, a company official told Dow Jones Newswires.

Seeking to renew its reserves, Shell is increasing its entry into frontier areas such as the Arctic seas, which are estimated to hold a quarter of the world’s undiscovered oil and gas resources.
