It is time to transition to safe, clean alternative energy. Rising oil prices will cause changes in behavior. We will use less, look for greater energy efficiency and begin greater use of alternative fuels. Bring on the electric, flex-fuel and hybrid vehicles. 40 MPG is better than 20 MPG. Dust off that bicycle and get a little exercise. Change is coming to our way of life. How painful it becomes depends on how fast the price of oil rises.
