Climate movie boosts solar sales

Contractors are giving the documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” some of the credit for skyrocketing sales in solar energy products.
“There were people who called me the next day after they saw that movie who said, ‘I want to do the right thing. I want to put solar on my house,’ ” said Rick White, president of California Solar in Simi Valley.
