Desu

I loved your presentation. It was fresh and clear and entertaining and you got alot of the main points right. Most important you from a young generation that can reach an audience so much better then many of us jaded old baby boomers.

I will share your video with my daughters and their friends.

Thank You

I really do need to repeat myself here and mention that we so rarely get a younger demographic coming to this site and speaking the truth about peak oil in a way that can reach their own generation. We need more voices like Desu's and others. Too many of us here are old baby boomers.

How do you know the people going to this site are much older than me? How do you know there aren't other people in my demographic visiting this site?

@desumaidin,
ibon's comment refers to the fact that quite simply because many of us can remember the panic of 1973 when (in my case) my parents queued up for petrol when it suddenly became in short supply, it's just something we remember. It is also something that most people born after the mid 1960s have never experienced having been too young to be aware or remember the 1973 shock.

Desu, Of course I do not know for sure the demographics of some of the people who visit this site who never post but from the active posters who I have gotten to learn from the many years here I have been able to conclude that the vast majority are of an older demographic. I am 57 years old and studied ecology and environmental science in the late 70's for example.

My point really is many of us are aging and wont be around long enough to contribute much more than point the way. It is your demographic that will move into the consequences later this century and on one side you will have the misfortune to suffer the consequences of our hubris but on the other side you will have the opportunity as well to actively participate in the seeds of transition that will emerge.
