Typical bullshit headline. The likely failure of a sensor doesn't mean "US built section of ISS fails". Other, non-US-built sections have had their own problems.

Mother Russia looked after the American astronauts after their shoddily constructed American section endangered them.

Of couse, you offer no evidence that the US section is any more 'shoddily constructed' than the Russian, EU, or Chinese sections. Just another unqualified poke at the US => waste of time and bandwidth.

My bad. EU and Japanese laboratory sections (The European Columbus and Japanese Kibō laboratories). I have a lot of irons in the fire this morning. This isn't relevant to your assertion that the US components are somehow inferior. Again, you haven't supported that. Not surprising. Your goal is clearly to belittle US technology rather than participate in an informative discussion. Helluva way to waste a life; tearing others down.

Question: Do you ever do anything constructive or pro-active?

Basically one sensor reported an ammonia leak and the effected area was evacuated as a precaution. It looks as if the sensor was faulty, others sensors did not detect anything amiss.
II Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Sensor was probably made in Russia.

I generally try to stay on topic, but in your case; no. It's a personal thing.

Looky here, the thought police are all out and trying to enforce their "moral authority".

What a bunch of hypocrite wankers. You would be all over the story like flies on shit if the situation was reversed. Engaging in a circle jerk of self affirmation and bias confirmation.

But to them it is a person. The US is a good person, Russia is a bad person. That is the infantile level of their intellects.

They are brought up on cartoons and commercials with the television acting as babysitter.

This is why they as adults still eat at places like McDonalds, on food that would sicken a dog if it wasn't brimful of chemical flavourings.

Hello folks. I have been watching this withnail character for a little bit and gone through there previous posts.
Zero interest in peak oil.
Zero interest in climate change.
Minimal interest in oil\energy in general: almost always associated with "US bad" (not totally but mostly).
95% of their posts are along the lines of "Russia\China\al Qeada is awesome"
"US\EU\UK sux"
They also are very very keen on reporting anything or anyone who disagrees with them. Often making inflamatory comments then reporting anyone knocking back.
There join date, username etc also raise flags for me.

This post will be reported and perhaps\probably removed.

But I think folk should take on board these observation (Cue a flurry of posts on peak oil from Richard E Grant).

Just troll trolling, yup it was infantile. No, the US is not the good person nor Russia the bad person.
They're countries that are full of good people with asshole governments.

Nevertheless, the headline is incorrect, and the OP's first comment was begging for a reaction. Would you agree or just continue posturing?

In short, it was a lie. Called out as such.
