The Times Online is merely a Brit tabloid that recycles neocon talking points so that American conservatives can claim to cite "sources."

Anything Murdoch gets his mittens on is tabloided mate, if not in appearance, in standard of gutter conservatism.

How can an online newspaper be a tabloid ? A tabloid is an industry term for a smaller newspaper format per spread.
FYI the Sunday Times newspaper is full size, NOT tabloid. Get your facts right gentlemen, engage brain before releasing keyboard !!
Can you recommend an unbiased newspaper, both in printed and on-line form ? Amen - Gasmon

There is no unbiased information anywhere. We can never be unbiased despite pretensions. I am biased towards socialist news. Conservatives are biased towards news that upholds their world views.

However, I tend to take ANY conservative reporting with a huge pinch of salt for a simple reason. When the USSR collapsed, the average Soviet citizen was not in hock to the tune of vast trillions spent by the elites on private yachts, mistresses, lavish holidays and expensive wars propping up equally corrupt elites.

When capitalism collapses, you will be in serious debt mate.

There he is. Still on the front lines. Even after all the character assassination everyone on the right has thrown his way, including many on these forums.

Keep at it, Al. Don't let the bastards grind you down!

Al Gore’s latest lie: Over 50% of CO2 in atmosphere is caused by man. The truth? It’s about 3%

The atmosphere prior to the industrial revolution had about 280 ppm CO2. Today it has about 400 ppm. Do the math---human activity has added about 120 ppm or about 42% more CO2 to the atmosphere then it had just 175 years ago.

Al Gore's 50% number is a little high, but its a heck of a lot closer to the facts then your wildly inaccurate 3% number tinmac

Good job trolling the deniers, dohboi. These clowns practically pee their pants when they hear his name. A clear derangement syndrome.

What bothers the deniers is Al has been correct in his alarmism. Then again you'd think these jokers would be use to being on the wrong side of the facts.
The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.

Oh, for pete sake. That picture. Now I know you do trolling, dohboi.

I don't even know what to say. Looks like a Mickey Mouse parade at Disneyland.

Who is the elderly woman? She looks nice, but what's with the stuffed animals? I mean come on guys, you got ole smiling Al Gore there with the sunflower placards in the background and it's kumbaya and teddy bears and that woman looking heavenward and so serene like she's Mother Theresa and Al Gore is the Pope himself.

It's just a bit much, don't you think? Meanwhile -- what kind of lightbulbs does Al Gore use, and is his huge plantation house green or is it obnoxious energy hog mcmansion? Not even "mc," it is a *mansion*.

Meanwhile RFK jr seems to think personal lifestyle choices are irrelevant! That he doesn't have to change anything! Nobody has to give up any of their lifestyle, just "change some laws" and voila the planet is saved and we can still all live the same way and grow exponentially!

That's a bunch of crap and even you know it, dohboi. And Al Gore is the same as RFK Jr, Al gore started all thise "green capitalist exponential growth" stuff.

How 'bout another run for pres!???

No thank you.

NAFTA was bad enough.

A President Gore would just force a Pacific Free Trade deal on us, more jobs in China and less jobs for Americans to "save the planet," or something like that right?

None of it makes any sense -- globalist free trade capitalist, tobacco farmer, Savior of the Planet yet he can't live green himself. Pffft

dohboi wrote:You got me, dis. I knew this would drive them crazy. And they are bumping the thread like crazy!

Oh, you admitted it, I couldn't get past that mickey mouse parade picture to see the rest of the thread. :P

Oh it's ok guys, God bless Al Gore and the vast fortune he has made off of pulling your treehugger heartstrings.

I'm more upset with him about NAFTA -- that one was really bad, he convinced Americans to support it and it was all a scam and it did *serious* permanent damage to this country, and add that to the bankster stuff Bill did, and now they are both so sanctimonious with the planet saving stuff and global initiative.

Maybe they feel guilty. They should.

Oh, I'm sure she's suckered in by algore too.

I'll tell you something, she's one of the FEW real deals in that whole crowd there.

Your movement should just get back to some old fashioned environmentalism, like Jane Goodall. That has moral force, and purpose, not just marching for "changing some laws."

All these these NYC lefty things *have no substance to them*. There is no policy. Nothing concrete. It's like how Occupy Wall Street was all trust fund babies leading it.

How about saving some trees? Where is that kind of environmentalism? Or doing work like Jane Goodall spent her life, doing? That stuff was real, carbon taxes and cap and trade is just for the rich to get richer -- and these same rich are marching to get the sh*t passed! RFK Jr, Al Gore.

What has Al Gore ever done to compare to Jane Goodall? It's limousine liberal stuff, dohboi, Jane Goodall is the real deal.

It's very frustrating. Your whole movement just talks about "climate change" and arguing with doubters about it and just reading temperature charts every day AND NOBODY IS SAVING THE ACTUAL ENVIRONMENT ANYMORE.

What happened to the old fashioned environmentalists, like Goodall, like saving the rain forests, saving some trees in California. How about saving manatees and whales and protesting about that.

Who the hell was this "climate change" march for, the banksters?

Just like you, huh!? :-D

Obviously, since she's in the march, this 'old fashioned' enviro is very concerned about GW. Could it be that it is you that are the deluded one??? 8)
