Professor Michio Kaku

Unread postby lorenzo » Sun 01 Jul 2012, 06:16:23

One of the world's leading theoretical physics professors, Prof Michio Kaku from the City University of New York, refers to Hubbert's peak, in a brief think on BigThink.

Not sure this was posted before. But as an authority argument it counts.

And also to say hi to my old friends of the PO community. Hi friends! Long time no see!

Michio Kaku still thinks controlled FUSION is 20 years out. I wonder what he'll think in twenty years, then ;-)

Anyway, need video about the European fusion effort:

Ah yes, the old 'the market will solve everything' argument.

Where have I heard that before.

Does this guy really think there is or ever can be any thing like a free market?

Has he never looked at what the total historic subsidies to ff and nukes has been versus the relatively tiny amount directed toward alternatives?

Why do we keep thinking people with such utterly myopic views are worth listening to?
