BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:15 P.M.) - The jihadist rebels of Fatah Halab and Jaysh Al-Fateh have accepted terms of surrender in east Aleppo after withstanding a two month long siege imposed by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies.

Per the agreement put in place, the jihadist rebels and all civilians will be allowed safe passage from the east Aleppo pocket to the 'Anadan plains near Mount Simeon - no activists, civilians, or jihadists will be arrested...

UN: Civilians used as human shields in Aleppo by militants
By Paul Antonopoulos - 15/12/20161
https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/un ... militants/
The UN's Commission of Inquiry for Syria (COI) says it has received reports that militants in Syria’s Aleppo are preventing civilians from leaving the city and are using them as human shields, PressTV reported.

The COI released a statement on Wednesday, saying it had received “allegations of opposition groups… preventing civilians from leaving as well as opposition fighters embedding themselves within the civilian population, thus heightening the risk to civilians of being killed or injured.”....

While ISIS celebrate its useless victory in the desert in/near Palmyra the SDF is attacking its capital Raqqa

The Kurdish-led "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF) continued their advance on the Islamic State stronghold of Al-Raqqa yesterday, targeting the western part of this large province in northern Syria.

The SDF, backed by U.S. airstrikes, managed to capture 5 villages in western Al-Raqqa on Thursday, killing several militants from the Islamic State in the process of their advance.

According to the official media with of the SDF, their forces liberated the villages of Al-Sayer, Dahweh, Abu Ardani, Al-Mashout, and Khafijah.

With these villages under their control, the SDF will focus on the remaining sites located between their positions and Raqqa City's western quarter....

A very recent interview with an independent journalist who just came out of East Aleppo. Her story is a lot different than what is coming out of the Western Media. It looks like the truth about East Aleppo will finally be heard. It looks like the interview was done on skype, anyway it's worth the annoyance to hear the other side.

Raqqa. There, units of the Kurdish militia decided to carry out a series of powerful strikes on positions of the so-called Islamic State (IS) terrorist group after the news that several thousands of IS terrorists departed from the city towards Palmyra. After several hours of fighting, the forces of Syrian Kurds liberated five inhabited localities in the province of Raqqa, including the villages of Al-Khafiyah and Al-Sayer, from IS terrorists.

The NATO mass media is spreading one lie after another about the "horrors perpetrated by the regime" in east Aleppo. As we saw on the front page of this site there are stories that bombing resumed on "Aleppo" with the insinuation that it is Aleppo City. This is a blood libel lie:

1) Most of Aleppo City has been in "regime" hands through the whole conflict.

2) The east Aleppo pocket that formed in the last two years was claimed to have 250,000 civilians. But what the
NATO mass media omitted was that the government held part had 1.5 million civilians. It turns out that the pocket
had less than 120,000 civilians. This is not surprising since it was a hell hole where the jihadis hoarded all the food and ran a Sharia torture regime. Civilians in this pocket were human shields for the jihadis.

3) There has been no bombing from the air of targets in the east Aleppo pocket since the middle of October, 2016. The collapse of the pocket has been rapid and achieved via street to street fighting by the SAA. Hezbollah fighters have not participated in the operation.

4) Civilians have been fleeing into government held areas and the government is actually helping them and not slaughtering them as asserted by the NATO mass media (*). The NATO mass media does not have a single journalist in Aleppo City. They cite second hand, unconfirmed reports from clearly biased pro-jihadi sources and claim this information is valid.

(*) The BBC ran a headline that 82 civilian bodies were found that of course the Assad regime did it. They quoted some UN observer. Well, the UN observer turned out to not actually observe anything and was just passing on unconfirmed information. Also this UN observer was a Jordanian and Jordan has an official anti-Assad policy.

BREAKING: At Least 14 US Coalition Military Officers Captured by Syrian Special Forces in East Aleppo Bunker

According to two reports coming out of Aleppo today, at least 14 US [and] Coalition military officers were captured this morning in an East Aleppo bunker by Syrian Special Forces.

...

Mutaz Kanoğlu – Turkey
David Scott Winer – USA
David Shlomo Aram – Israel
Muhamad Tamimi – Qatar
Muhamad Ahmad Assabian – Saudi
Abd-el-Menham Fahd al Harij – Saudi
Islam Salam Ezzahran Al Hajlan – Saudi
Ahmed Ben Naoufel Al Darij – Saudi
Muhamad Hassan Al Sabihi – Saudi
Hamad Fahad Al Dousri – Saudi
Amjad Qassem Al Tiraoui – Jordan
Qassem Saad Al Shamry – Saudi
Ayman Qassem Al Thahalbi – Saudi
Mohamed Ech-Chafihi El Idrissi – Moroccan

...

“The agreement on evacuating militants and weapons from the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city has been suspended after terrorist groups breached it, special sources told SANA correspondent in Aleppo.

The sources said that the suspension of the agreement will remain in place until obtaining guarantees that oblige the terrorist groups to abide by all the agreement’s provisions, stressing on the Syrian side’s full adherence to the agreement and its keenness to end the bloodshed and restore security and stability to the entire city of Aleppo.”

Earlier, SANA reporter said that the terrorist groups have breached the agreement as they smuggled heavy weapons, including TOW missiles, heavy machineguns and kidnapped people via the buses and cars transporting terrorists and their families towards the southwestern countryside of Aleppo city.

The reporter added that the terrorist groups fired shells and sniper bullets on the buses and ambulances at al-Ramousseh crossing, noting that the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) which are supervising the evacuation process had to withdraw all buses and cars from the crossing.

Over the past 24 hours, some 8079 terrorists and members of their families were evacuated via busses and ambulances from the neighborhoods of Salah-Eddin, al-Ansari, al-Mashhad and al-Zibdiyeh to the southwest countryside of Aleppo city”

...

If today’s report from East Aleppo is accurate, this might also help explain the hysterical behavior by the US State Department and western UN officials who have been demanding “an immediate ceasefire” – despite the fact that 99% of East Aleppo has already been liberated by Syrian government forces.

The western establishment hysterical reactions to Al Nusra’s defeat in Aleppo have included wild claims that the Syrian Army had ‘unleashed death squads,’ on its own residents in East Aleppo and were openly ‘executing women and children in the street,’ and ‘burning children in the street,’ as well what appear to be more fictional reports circulated in US media mainly by Michael Weiss of The Daily Beast via CNN, claiming that Syrian Army was committing “mass rape” against residents of East Aleppo. His article entitled, “Women in Aleppo Choose Suicide Over Rape, Rebels Report,“ made a number of outlandish claims including:

“Activists and rebels in the besieged city say mass executions have begun and children are burned alive as Assad’s Iranian- and Russian-backed forces move in.”

Not surprisingly, aside from unnamed “UN sources”, Weiss claims to have received his information from none other than the discredited US and UK-financed pseudo ‘NGO’ known as the White Helmets.

Part of the deal to evacuate the "rebels" aka jihadis from east Aleppo was to evacuate two towns populated by Shi'ites surrounded by jihadis. Clearly the jihadis have no interest in keeping their word. In the name of their vision of Allah they can commit any atrocity they want.

Image

Expect the shrill liars in the NATO mass media to start crying for jihadis trapped in east Aleppo. The UN Security council is already voting on some resolution to pamper these maggots and take care of their "rights". The rights Syrian Shi'ites and Christian do not matter. Russia needs to veto these jihadi assistance ploys. Let the NATO mass media bleat its hate 24/7. It makes not difference what Russia or Syria does. It will always be black=white and white=black.

Still Absolutely No Evidence of Widely Reported Massacre of 82 Aleppo Civilians

Guess what, there is still not a shred of evidence that the supposed Aleppo massacre of 82 innocent civilians widely reported in the western press last week actually took place.

Funny how last Tuesday we even had precise numbers. 82 civilians, 58 men, 11 women and 13 children. Somebody was able to count them. Yet despite of how common smartphones are in Syria that somebody has not been able to snap a single photo of any of the bodies?

And let's think a moment about the supposed massacre. So the Syrian army has been willing to evacuate thousands of Islamist rebels, including from notorious groups like Jabhat al-Nusra and Nour al-Din al-Zenki but is at the same time going around executing children??

You think then the BBC, Reuters, The Guardian, The Independent, to name a few, may have jumped the gun on that one? Would it have been more prudent to just not bother relaying such unconfirmed information, or else make it very clear it originates from sources who have an agenda and incentives of their own and are only allowed to operate under the supervision of al-Qaeda-type groups?

But here is the thing about new reporting. Western big media no longer reports what it knows, but what it fears,

Information is no longer checked against facts but against one's preconceptions.

The Economist article on the alleged massacre of 82 provides a splendid case in point. Subtitled "The fate of up to 100,000 civilians is terrifyingly unclear"

The 250,000 civilians in the east Aleppo pocket was an estimate and not an established fact. There was nobody there to count the civilians. No UN and no NATO mass media. Every time the pocket shrank so did the population since the jihadis were abusing the civilians under their control. The jihadis grabbed all the food they could find and run a Sharia nightmare with summary beheadings. There 120,000 civilians in the pocket as it was before the rapid collapse that started several weeks ago.

The Economist is playing games where it pretends that the difference have all be killed. Why bother killing these civilians and letting the jihadis go? The NATO mass media is a sewer of lies.

Turkish troops in Al Bab no heavy fighting reported ISIS left the city maybe for Palmyra?

TURKISH FORCES SEIZE AL-BAB HOSPITAL, CAPTURE ABOUT 30% OF TOWN – REPORTS

https://southfront.org/turkish-forces-s ... n-reports/

Pro-Turkey militant groups and the Turkish Armed Forces have seized from ISIS terrorist group key positions in the western part of al-Bab in the Syrian province of Aleppo, according to pro-Turkey sources.

On December 21, Turkish forces secured the al-Bab hospital, the Youth Housing Project and the Automaitc Bakery after a series of firefights with ISIS units. The advance was massively supported by the Turkish Air Force and Turkish artillery units.

The al-Bab hospital is located at the top of a strategic hill in western al-Bab. So, now Turkish forces have a fire or a direct control of about 30% of the town.

Meanwhile, photos from the ground show a high number of Turkish military personnel among militants involved in the operation. Likely, this explains the recent advacnes of Turkey-led forces in the area.

Oh it seems that Turkey + Iran +Russia have a Deal about Syria => ISIS is fighting Turkey now in Al Bab

https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/pi ... outskirts/

n Wednesday, various islamist factions of "Free Syrian Army" (FSA) backed by Turkish Army and Air Force launched a powerful assault on the strategic city of Al-Bab in the northeastern part of Aleppo province trying to enter the city from its western flank.

However, the attack ended in a disaster, as militants of the so-called "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) managed to conduct a successful counterattack using a VBIED (vehicle borne improvised explosive device) while also putting up fierce resistance to enemy troops. Suffering heavy losses in manpower and losing several armoured vehicles, the troops fighting under 'Euphrates Shield Operation' umbrella were forced to retreat.

Turkish Ministry of Defense confirmed loss of 14 soldiers as a result of today's failed attack. Another 33 servicemen were wounded. In the meantime, no information is currently available about losses in the FSA ranks. Earlier today, ISIS terror group's media wing, "Aamaq agency", claimed that more than 50 pro-Turkish fighters were killed as a result of clashes at Al-Bab outskirts.

ISIS terrorists have seized two Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks and a bulldozer from Turkish forces near the Syrian city of al-Bab, the ISIS-linked news agency ‘Amaq’ said in a statement on December 22.

The statement added that pro-Turkey militants and the Turkish Armed Forces lost over 70 fighters in the recent clashes and sucide bomb attacks.
