Renewable South Australia is almost BANKRUPT

Unread postby StarvingLion » Thu 18 Feb 2016, 17:12:09

After all the glowing headlines about renewables achievements in South Australia over the past year, now 4 days ago they sheepishly admit they are nothing more than a NUCLEAR DUMPING GROUND...Hahahahaha...I guess that renewables bullshit aint working out...they need more "wealthy" web programming EV morons so they can reach total poverty sooner. Its all over, fools....

Hopeless Australia -- TOTALLY DOOMED

Nuclear waste is zombie waste: Australia must not become a dumping ground...

2 days ago - A GIGANTIC 445 billion would be pumped into the states finances over at least 70 years by creating a lucrative high-level nuclear waste dump ...

THINGS are looking grim for the South Australian economy, and everyone is trying to think of ways to kickstart growth. But is building a nuclear waste dump ...

So let me get this straight, they are paying South Australia/Australia to allow itself to become a nuclear waste dump site. How does a country go from being bullish or optimistic on renewable energy to a nuclear dumping country? Oh well sad, just another indication of the state of the entire planet.

Here's the source, the thinking is pure, solid-gold delusion...

Senator Edwards told news.com.au if a sodium cooled fast reactor was built using Generation IV technology, “pyro processing” could see spent fuel rods collected from nuclear facilities around the world and recycled so more energy can be squeezed out of them. This could generate free to low-cost energy for South Australians.

Lol!

The same dickhead government spent millions on the 'Solar Cities' scam, voted against having a nuke dump despite being geologically the safest place in the world for one, despite having one of the world's biggest uranium mines. South Aussie is Green Left heartland- delusion is the standard order of the day.

This is being driven by the PTB
One of the main mouth pieces over the journey has been a former PM.
Its a convenient way for accountants/governments/nuclear industry to spruke the nuclear industry, when there is somewhere to dump the rubbish, out of sight, with a defined cost to put on the balance sheet.
Maralinga is a former nuclear test sight in SA, so there is a history of colonial rulers doing what they want there, with no regard to the traditional owners.

Better to leave it in the middle of Sydney (Lucas Heights) or hospital basements as is current practice, & keep burning & selling billions of tons of coal, than use our own uranium, our own extremely stable geology, our own scientists & builders, sure that makes sense.

Howdy ... here is a useful tool created by Jim Lee ... you can see how wide spread the nuclear disaster has become ... you will find nuclear info at the pollution tab

LOL what a pathetic shaming attempt. If you really love children then don't have them.

But it's easier to obey animal instincts and social conditioning, isn't it? Breed now, think later. It's your own fault that your grandchildren will end up living in a world in which all coal, oil and natural gas have been burnt. Because that's what the future holds and nothing can change it.

It doesn't matter all that much, love them or not. I'm afraid there are no lifeboats on this Titanic...

I often wondered what would happen to our country in respect of revenue streams after the mining boom went...boom!

Now we can fill all of those open cut mines with barrels of radioactive waste.

At the end of the year, we will no longer have an automotive industry. As a manufacturing exporter-we are screwed.

Then we also go ahead with the selling of our farms, power stations, LNG and anything else that China wants.... just to get a quick buck in the bank. It is bad accounting to sell your assets to pay your debts.

We are headed for the mother of all recessions.
