Ok, Pops, now I managed to change my password, and it works beautifully.

However my email address I am not able to change. The address displayed in the profile is several years old. When I change it and confirm it, I get the complaint 'the email address is already in use' , referring to the new, current, one. Yet when I log in next time and check settings, the old email address is the one displayed again. I have tried three or four times to update my e-mail address, logging out between trials.
