I'm getting the same problem. I'd visit more if I got the occasional reminder from topics I'm watching. Does anyone know of another peak oil forum where this doesn't happen? Maybe I should do a search.

This board is not those boards.

You're kidding, right? None of the many free message boards charge for anything, and their email notifications work.

Stop complaining, at least they don't charge us a fee for accessing this message board and related threads. Enjoy a good thing while it lasts!

One of the reasons I'm rarely around here any longer, I'll make a post and get no notification of replies so I forget to come back. No one in charge seems to care about this feature. :badgrin:

Just to bring the issue up for a bit of fresh air

E-mails notification are off , is it policy , stuff up or the " too hard can't be bothered"

You are NOT alone, as you can see there are several of us who have pointed out this problem now and then.

Any word from the tech guys when/if this will be fixed? I used to rely on those notifications but now that they just don't happen, whatever I do, I visit the site only rarely.

Yes, the last notification I received was May 17, I presume the new software is still being worked on and it will start back up again at some point (fingers crossed)

Worked for years, quit Apr 22, 2010.

I thought it had to do with the upgrade.

I was unsubscribed from all threads. Re-subscribing didn't help.

I resorted to reading the FAQ, which said I must also subscribe to forums, but that didn't help either.

That only worked for the first month or so I was a member.

I completely forgot about it actually.
