I have to say with all that is going on anyone who thinks supply will actually grow until 2030 is smoking some very good dope.

It's CERA. It is garbage analysis. The data is unavailable to anyone, with the exception that for $2,000 you get 2 of the 12 tables they use. You want the other 10 tables, you gotta have a specific CV that includes high-level executive position at Halliburton and a job in public (dis)service. :?

There will be no shortage of people proclaiming that peak oil is purely an above-ground issue rather than geology. And you know how above-ground issues tend to be resolved.

don't know if you guys have discussed it but CERA had a cute optimistic take on peak oil , they call it peak demand
