Novella Lost Submariner Log One

Unread postby Subjectivist » Fri 24 May 2013, 20:50:42

Can anyone read my novella Lost Submariner Log One and tell me what you think? I wrote it for the fun of it, not as a cautionary tale some other members on here have done.

It does cost three bucks for the kindle version but you can read the first chapter for a free sample to review it without spending anything but a few minutes of your time.
II Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

If time travel or historical fiction are your thing you would probably enjoy this book. The print price is crazy for a short book but the Kindle version isn't out of range for most.
Alfred Tennyson wrote:We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

It is pure escapist fantasy, comes from a lifetime of watching war movies as a kid and adult and thinking how things cold have gone differently. Adding in a modern viewpoint is what makes it fantasy. Most alternate history is based on key personalities making different decisions during some key historical event.
