Movie: Saving Mr. Banks

For anyone who ever watched and enjoyed the movie Mary Poppins as a kid I highly recommend you go see Saving Mr. Banks. Anyone who has lost their own parents will be able to relate to the story of the author P. L. Travers whose life was filled with challenges.

Failure is not when you fall short at a task, failure is when you stop trying.
Alfred Tennyson wrote:We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

It is a good movie, but anyone who grew up in an alcoholic household should be prepared for an emotional roller coaster when they see it the first time.
II Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
