Manufactured in florida, desgined in Italy..... Initially to be tested for industrial applications - 10 kilowatt system.... before residentual usage.....

What are we talking about here.. a fusion reactor? Your link goes to "Coast to Coast AM," description of your video:

In the first half, controversial author David Icke discussed what's behind the curtain of world events, how a global cartel pulls the strings, and changes that humanity is facing. The planet is undergoing a vibrational or energetic shift and during this time hidden aspects of life will be revealed to people, along with big geophysical upheavals, and increased solar activity, he said. One such revelation that people are becoming aware of is that a secret cabal runs the world, and pushes events in a direction that gives them more and more power, he stated.

I don't see anything about fusion there. If there's a fusion plant being built, surely there's another source you can link.

I guess he's just trying to be difficult? The audio is clearly about "low energy nuclear fission"...which is what the creator likes to call it. But wow, very cheap if this goes large scale! I really enjoyed the comments about turning garbage into fuel landed him in jail. Of course he was exonerated later...but the project seemed to have died after that.

YouTube - Cold Fusion by Rossi and Focardi

I haven't been following this story closely. Last I heard, they had announced a production schedule for these things which is next year or something. But some of these are shipping even now. It's a curious tease.

I expect from these italians to fail on the road to success... but hey, I keep on dreaming that they are right, one way or another.

bah, if we really had cracked the fusion barrier, 'we're saved!!!' would be being screamed from every mainstream media/propaganda department rooftop.

Nope, the last thing TPTB want is something like this. If this turns out to be true, it will be like when we discovered fire or the wheel was invented. The old World powers will crumble. :)

The oil wars will be non-existent, the IMF will become obsolete. Everything will change. :)

No more peak oil doom. :-D

Should we be concerned that the machine seems to need a lot of "tin foil" to make it work? I'm not sure if that was for insulation or to conceal its operation.

They didn't build it. They read about it in a secret writing by Edgar Cayce, and found it inside a box left by a UFO underneath the Sphinx in Egypt.

Exactly.. that's my point.. yeah I'm lazy, but sorry I listened to way too much Coast to Coast back in the day. I don't want to take a chance on having to sit through another "remote viewing" segment, I'll break out in hives.

I need a text link, an article, something. I can't believe the secret of cold fusion is available only on "Coast to Coast AM."

We shall see soon enough, eh.

6 yer pretty good @ digging up news, maybe you can find more info on this?

All I know is the guy is claiming to have a 10 killowatt prototype installed by Oct.

Directory:Andrea A. Rossi Cold Fusion Generator

The first units expected to ship by the second half of October of this year, with mass production commencing by the end of 2011. The first units will be used to build a one megawatt plant in Greece. This one megawatt plant will power a factory that will produce 300,000 ten-kilowatt units a year.

This would become the world's first commercially-ready "cold fusion" device. Licensees are mentioned, with contracts in the USA and in Europe. Mass production should escalate in 2-3 years. Presently, Rossi says they are manufacturing a 1 megawatt plant composed of 125 modules. These modules should begin shipping by the end of October. On January 31st, 2011, Rossi wrote: "The cost to produce the catalyzer is 1 cent per MWh generated; the life expectancy is 20 years; the cost impact is between 1 and 1.5 cents per MWh."

http://peswiki.com/index.php/Directory: ... _Generator

How it works.......
The Energy Catalyzer works by placing nano to micro sized particles of nickel powder in a reactor along with pressurized hydrogen gas and special undisclosed (for proprietary reasons) catalysts. When the contents of the reactor is heated (using a series of resistors in the reactor) to approximately 400 to 500 degrees Celsius, nuclear reactions start taking place. The strength of the reaction can be changed by varying the pressure of the hydrogen in the reactor. The output energy can be up to 400 times the input energy.

No precious metals or radioactive substances is placed in the reactor. After the reactor is turned off the reactor can be opened and no radiation can be detected. The process transmutes nickel into copper and trace amounts of other elements such as zinc.

The transmutation of nickle to copper? Why not lead into gold?

Are they describing this as "alchemy?"

Also, it would be nice if they would generate 100,000 watts, because these perpetual motion machines always claim to make less energy than they could get from the wall socket they are plugged into.

FYI reptile brain, lead into gold is a metaphor in alchemy. You are translating it literally such as, 'the blood of Christ'.

Ok, Nickel to copper is a jump of one proton and up to about 5 neutrons. Regular hydrogen can't do this in any circumstances, no neutron. Deuterium has a neutron, so where do the others come from? Tritium is radioactive with two neutrons and the article denied any radioactivity. Even cold fusion should produce a little helium shouldn't it? Tacking on protons and neutrons to copper is certainly a new type of fusion from what I studied in physics.

.
one cannot argue with industrial success .
any table top experiment is a curiosity

I'm totally skeptical but will concede it works when ( if ) it become commercially available

that's the glory of the free market , it back winners
as for unlimited cheap energy saving the world , it will simply remove the barriers for people breeding at an accelerated rate , devouring all and building over the whole surface ,
by by nature , hello mega cities of 100 millions
