What does that have to do with earthquakes? Which happen all the time? The webbots might as well have predicted, for any given day/week/month/quarter/year, "The sun is going to rise!".

Earthquake sightings every 5 minutes?

How about market futures?

The market futures are up 10! No, down 5! No, up 22! Latocians specialized in this sort of nonsense, its that goldfish attention span thing.

Xeno is in hiding as Shorty.

He enjoys making fun of folks who worry and plan for the future. He calls them "doomers." He's similar to the high-school bully who picks on little gay kids and makes them commit suicide. Then some brave Asian army gay-guy comes to everyone's defense, and the schoolyard bully spends his days ostracized and in constant paranoia buried in his "gay-doomer" bunker.

Darn, here I was all dressed up for the end of the world and nothing happened. Then again, tipping points are difficult to perceive. Did some algorithm shoot another algorithm dead on the belly of Goldman Sachs this morning and we not hear about it?

More simply stated, do you think that Arch Duke Ferdinand’s driver knew that the death of his boss would devastate Western Europe and kill millions?

My bet is he did not.

lol shorty is back.

EQ swarm in Yemen seems most likely candidate right now. If HAARP caused and decision was made in the US, that fits. Not searching for a hit or trying to rationalize for those who are doubting, just stating my opinion based on current data.

You are an amazing individual VM. I never saw Gaia drawn like that to where I could tell she had three seismic sphincters. Just wow...

They're not sphincters. They're the location of Target stores.

I go to urban survivals daily update quite often, I see absolutely nothing what so ever near the magnitude or serious of what they predicted. Nor do I at least for now even see the beginnings of anything serious that might have started today. Today's news cycle was quite pleasantly boring. I'm glad I didn't head for the hills. As a doomer I think we are in a collapsing society but these things take years or even decades predicting the end is near serves little other purpose than making us look like fools, and damages the cause of trying to get people to look critically at how our civilization is run.

Lets get serious, what does the Farmer’s Almanac have to say?
The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.

Unread postby rdsaltpower » Thu 06 Jan 2011, 15:05:28

Looks like a swarm of earthquakes in Iceland near previous eruption. Anyone have any reports on it?http://en.vedur.is/earthquakes-and-volcanism/earthquakes/myrdalsjokull/

Whatever happens happens... But the Katla webcam is still functioning, so I think it's another day of wine and roses (or beer and pizza). :)

Hasn't Katla always blown within a year of Eyjafallajokull? I've been wondering when this would get into the news again.
But this site, link, doesn't show any quakes in Iceland over the last week.

MEGA EARTHQUAKE WARNING FOR US

Unread postby KevO » Sun 13 Mar 2011, 05:21:53

A new report released today in the Kremlin prepared for Prime Minister Putin by the Institute of Physics of the Earth, in Moscow, is warning that the America’s are in danger of suffering a mega-quake of catastrophic proportions during the next fortnight (14 days) with a specific emphasis being placed on the United States, Mexico, Central America and South American west coast regions along with the New Madrid Fault Zone region.

This report further warns that catastrophic earthquakes in Asia and the sub-continent are, also, “more than likely to occur” with the 7.3 magnitude quake in Japan today being “one of at least 4 of this intensity” to occur during this same time period.

Raising the concerns of a mega-quake occurring, this report says, are the increasing subtle electromagnetic signals that are being detected in the Earth’s upper atmosphere over many regions of the World, with the most intense being over the US Western coastal and Midwest regions.

Important to note are that Russian and British scientists are at the forefront of predicting earthquakes based on these subtle electromagnetic signals and have joined in an effort to put satellites in space to detect more of them.

More ominously in this report are Russian scientists confirming the independent analysis of New Zealand mathematician and long-range weather forecaster, Ken Ring, who predicted the deadly Christchurch quake and this week issued another warning of a quake to hit on or about March 20th.
