Yes...in peakerville, multiple additional millions of barrels a day is called a plateau. And this plateau created full storage, product cuts to try and contain MORE price decreases, and the wonderful side effect of your peak oil...increased car sales, increased demand for the cheap refined products, there is only one graphic that demonstrates how wonderful peak oil was.

Well, as long as you put a negative sign in front of your decline number...sure. But no one except a peaker is dumb enough to pretend increases are a decline, and it takes awhile nowadays to even find one that stupid. Congratulations on finding yourself a niche in zealot-ville.

ZEALOTS don't want to accept the truth, and you've proven you belong in that category twice in a single post. There must be some true believers in your neighborhood to scare with peak oil stories, like peakers did in the good old days..just find someone young enough to not be faced with cheap prices at the pump when they fill up their cars, without access to Google or the telly, who can't read or think for themselves, and you'll have the perfect audience for your claptrap. A local mental institution might do in a pinch...but even they might outclass your level of delusional thinking.

I don't care if you want it to occur or not. Gasoline and diesel will decline as transport fuels. Accept it.
Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.
It's not hard to do.

In a few years you will be beaten, robbed, eaten. And goons will rape your girlfriend, wife, daughters, right in front of you.

Just wait until we experience a 10% or 20% drop in oil supplies. In a few years or sooner we certainly will. When it hits the economic and social damage will be catastrophic The end of Western Civilization, from China to Europe, to the US, will not occur when oil runs out. The economic and social chaos will occur when supplies are merely reduced sufficiently.

Once we lose our oil supplies there will be great new jobs available for all you conservatives. Shoveling shit from the horses in the streets all day. So get ready to work from sunrise to sunset to earn your daily food rations. Only two rules "No complaining & No Drugs"...

the collapse will be absolutely horrible..There is no collapse or horror movie ever produced that has even come close to imagining what the collapse of BAU might look like. I'm talking about people eating people. I'm talking about the Worst Catastrophe to ever happen in the history of mankind. Nothing has ever, or will ever come close.

Please define what "this" is that you wish to burn down. I'm always interested in looking into the mind of the unbalanced. This place gives me a lot of practice.

I don't really want it to occur, but it's happening anyway. First small and isolated countries get cut off, then eventually we'll be the ones who have to figure out something else. I would like it if those who waste the much were the first cut off, but it's not happening. We're going to see a slow diminution of everything. The shutting off of certain places has already begun.

Centuries ago...my vote goes for the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire, everything has been downhill since then.
