The first 50% is the easier part. It's the thousands of outlying distribution lines that will take some time. Of course, many of those customers no longer exist.

Because Trump killed them right? Because he hates brown people.

(Typical idiotic and inflammatory Cogesque comment. )

Because those properties were destroyed by hurricanes.

Would you again loan money to a dead-beat territory? I sure wouldn't. They should pay the debts they owed. The billionaire is correct in his assessment.

Whitefish is halting all its work....and if I understand correctly the last bit of the quote then they have also stopped paying their subcontractors. It seems to me that the article implies that the complaint to Prepa was delayed payments from Whitefish, but it does not clearly state that (the article does leave out a lot of interesting details).

BBC wrote:An energy firm is halting work restoring power in hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico in a dispute over pay.

Whitefish Energy says payments have been delayed from Puerto Rico's bankrupt power authority.

The power authority, known was Prepa, says it is reviewing invoices and has stopped payments after receiving a complaint from a subcontractor.
....
The company said in a statement it had been "promptly" turning over payments to subcontractors but "outstanding invoices for work performed in October made it impossible to continue in this manner".

Wasn’t one of the reasons they got the job was because the others would not agree to the payment terms but wanted money up front.

This was inevitable.

We spent a couple of nights in a “rustic” hut outside the rain forest. The flush toilet was outside at the bottom of the cistern. It worked well but I felt compelled to shoo out the frogs before flushing. This is how I know my Wife loves me! ;)

So anyway, we are driving inland up a paved road and I need to pee, real bad. I see this scenic overlook kinda wide spot and pull over. It’s a beautiful cloudless morning. The view is magnificent of the valley opening up to the Caribbean Sea with Vieques in the background.

Just as I start to relieve myself I let out a barely audiable “ahhh” at which exact time a coral group starts into some kind of “Ave Maria” or something. Startled, and not a little embarrassed, I slowly swing my head around and see nothing, but the singing continues. I look up the hill behind me and, yup, there is a cloister, poised to enjoy my same view, with the nuns singing praises. I finished up and red faced scurried down the road not sure if I should be embarrassed or prideful. I’m going for embarrassed.

And the costs of natural calamities seem to be rising
2017 could tie record for billion-dollar disasters in a year. Here's why.

Onlooker

Your site seems to have gone down.

I tried to google the article title, which brings up your exact link. But for sale.

Huh, interesting. I now note the link is from our very own home page this AM.
