Great chart, Monte. I don't know the methodology used to generate that chart but it's easy to feel it playing out in the collective consciousness of internet sniping.

Thanks. I can die a happy man now. Of course, I know you'll just keep sniping at me to the ends of time, so don't bother with this faux resignation.

Hmmm....the big move towards polarization begins in 2009.

I wonder why that is?

Watch Fox News and listen to right-wing talk radio. You'll soon be fed a earful of divisive disinformation.

And the big move to the right started under Bush, while the left stayed in place for some time.

Because a black man won the white house.

Do I need to go fetch your cheap "FUCK OFF" posts from the archives to prove you wrong?

I'm not saying I haven't ad hommed, but your ad homming takes the cake. It's really borderline restraining-order-grade.

BS. I said the case wasn't closed. Nothing more, nothing less. You're the one who is calling it prematurely. Stick by that analysis all you want and we'll see how things unfold.

Hey pstarr,

I believe in the marriage of fission reactors with offshore oil exploration. Then you can throw that EROEI garbage out the window.

A floating reactor?

Not that SL's prediction is realistic, but the idea of a floating reactor is nothing new.

Would you like to see "unhinged"?

The credit crisis was caused by liar-loans and ARM resets. And the oil spike was caused in large part due to speculators.

OK, now run into the bathroom and look in the mirror. There is your unhinged.

Someone disagrees with you on the internet and you can't just accept that.

If you want to prove you're not unhinged, resist the temptation to tell me to fuck off the way I know you're about to do.

Pstarr, what are you doing? Copying and pasting articles where you argued with posters who are long gone?

Let it go.
