The Little Red Book. I carried it around for years as a kid. Still have it in the safe.

Here's one:

'Direct experience is the best teacher'

There is so much true ageless wisdom to be found in Mao's Little Red Book. I have a pristine copy in English including an introduction by Lin. It's quite rare. I've read it and memorized quite a few selections.

Such an appropriate quotation when applied to Russia's planting of wind for the past 300 years. :)

It's OK baby. You can always console yourself with the wisdom of Mao the Dung. :)

Russians are quite poor gardeners :)
However once West planted a wind in Kosovo, I can assure you, it will grow well.

Abkhazia seeks independence recognition

Georgia's breakaway republic Abkhazia will seek recognition for its de facto independence from Russia and the European Union, the republic's foreign minister said Thursday.

Mobilization in Abkhazia

Abkhazian President Sergei Bagapsh announced on Friday the partial mobilization of the de facto independent republic's military, citing fears that Georgian troops could cross over into the breakaway region.

"We are coming out with an appropriate response to action on the part of Georgia, which is concentrating its armed forces on the border with Abkhazia," Bagapsh said.

According to information sources in Sokhumi, a mobilization has been announced in Abkhazia. A correspondent statement was done by Abkhazian President Sergey Bagapsh on Friday evening. Bagapsh motivated this as an answer to current situation on the border with Georgia.

Abkhazian officials say that Georgian military forces are relocated in direction of the Abkhazian-Georgian border, but the first detachments have been brought there on Tuesday.

On Friday war maneuvers began in Abkhazia.

Russia moves additional forces into Abkhazia as Abkhazia votes in Russian elections

Collective peacekeeping forces in the zone of the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict have set up additional observation posts, an aide to the peacekeeping force commander said on Saturday.

http://en.rian.ru/world/20080301/100382847.html

Chairman of Russia's Central Election Commission Vladimir Churov dismissed the note of protest from the Georgian Foreign Ministry, over voting in the Russian presidential election in Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Some 80 percent of Abkhazia's residents have Russian citizenship. The voting stations are opened on the premises of military sanatoria and other facilities belonging to the Russian Federation.

"Abkhazian's are voting in our presidential elections and Russian troops are guaranteeing the peace and borders of Abkhazia. We wave our private parts in Georgia's general direction. What ya gonna do about it, eh?"

According to Washington and its loyalists Abkhazians and Ossetians do not have any rights to self-determination but Kosovo Albanians and of course Chechens do. By using the word "special" any sort of legal principles and logic are rendered irrelevant.

Funny how the US is making pronouncements about Kosovo's territorial integrity. Clearly Washington has deemed itself to be above the UN and any of the existing treaties that underpin any sort of international legality. I guess all those nutbar militias can disband now, there is no chance of the UN taking away America's freedom to try to rule the world.

The US can "declare" whatever it wants. Unfortunately, the US can no longer get it up, and can now only watch and talk about the past. US bluster is now meaningless as we fight just to stay afloat. The true impotence of the US will shortly become apparent. Unfortunately, that means hard economic times for those of us who live here; to the point of our very survival I'm afraid. I'm afraid the implosion will be totally devastating.

You might want to ask the Japanese about writing off the United States.

Who said that USA is written off? He said that USA can't get it up anymore. You disagree?
